And what is this bucket system? To control faucet? So there will be no longer 200 sat faucet to try new site?
about the faucet, IIRC they will remove it completely in the v2, so its probably a faucet which using the bankroll of the app owner
So the faucet amount will be higher depends on bankroll? But does it really affect much? Because most apps will only give around 30 times claim for each day so it wont be abused, although if they change it, I am sure they will find more abuser too

I'm fairly sure that they said that the faucet will be funded 100% by the app owner. The faucet amount will be dependent on what the app owner wants it to be, and not the bankroll for the specific app. It will affect a lot of things, as some sites are removing the faucet all together (Bit-Exo). Also, every app gives 288 claims every day, as it's 1 claim every 5 minutes. I don't think abusing is a large factor in the change, but probably giving 2 bits for free to everyone costs quite a bit in the long run.

Dogedigital (or another MP owner/dev), what would be your stance on using Moneypot in the future for a faucet (with ads)?

Btw i want to ask about the rubies, does it still the same as rubies before? Because i saw you post rubies/r2b2. What does it mean? And what is this bucket system? To control faucet? So there will be no longer 200 sat faucet to try new site?

based on what i read somewhere in this thread or in rbies thread, they will exchange rbies to r2b2, if you are holding rbies to will send it to an address to burn and they will send you r2b2 in return.

So they will exchange our rubies to r2b2 for any amount? Good to hear that though. So the faucet amount will be higher depends on bankroll? But does it really affect much? Great to see things are moving forward. Nice to see v2 coming up. I think the current site design doesn't do much justice for the site so I hope the upcoming design is better Tongue Just my two satoshis

Hi there i was wondering has a date been put in place for conversion to V2, just so can plan for any modification to casinos and api functions within the code

thanks in advance!!

They haven't given any date for it as there's been some delays and they don't want to disappoint anyone. What I have heard is "soon" so it can't be too far away.

I didn't crunch the numbers to see true odds, but I think profit to total bets is 0.01% which is WAY below statistical average.  Given Kelly criteria and the sample size I wonder how many standard deviations we are drifting out.

You can't look at actual profit if you want to do that kind of calculation, because you can't calculate that from just the house edge and kelly criterion. If you just have those, you can only imply expected profit and expected bankroll growth

Your math is incredibly off. Average house edge for volume on MoneyPot is 0.96%, with true house profit being at around 0.645% of the total bets. Variance screwed us on a couple of longshot bets, which if they had not hit would have us on par with course. We changed the max payout in order to reduce variance moving forward.

We are also no longer using the kelly criterion. Before you try and bash us, please at least do a bit of reading. The house has actually won over 509 BTC (currently) out of an expected 735 BTC (currently). The profit shown on the home page, is what bankroll investors have made. We realize investors are currently unhappy with their returns, which is why we announced a couple weeks ago we would be switching to a new system where app owners, and MoneyPot, will be sharing some of the risk with investors, as well as increasing the overall EV for bankroll investors by slightly reducing commission.

Returns for investors here are junk, seem to be almost statistically impossible.

It's been rough for us that's for sure, but your comment is just untrue. AOB is on a super hot streak and did a ton of damage but that's part of the risk you have to take take to hopefully earn a return.

Thanks for the support everyone. While the new design is still being tweaked (will look great on mobile too Smiley) it will share the same qualities as the blog we just launched: http://blog.moneypot.com/

Just a heads up: Some images and stylesheets on your blog are served over HTTP, even when you visit the blog at https://blog.moneypot.com over HTTPS. Most browsers won't load the stylesheet, which breaks the page.

The best practice is to specify the URLs with an implicit protocol, i.e.
Code:

instead of
Code:

or to simply force HTTPS across the whole site.

I'm very happy about these informations. I'm so happy to see the changed coming.

If version 2 is online, I finally can build all my game ideas with moneypot. Slotmachines with freegames, PvP-Games and others.

Time for next generation of gambling Cheesy

Glad to hear that, your test site looked good to me Smiley

Doge Digital will be posting more on graphics later.

As far as tweaking games for public release: We have had a few talks on this, we have a few ideas in mind that would make it ideal for players and casino owners. Any of these changes would come post 2.0, as 2.0 is our main priority.

Ahhhh so much better on the eyes, can't wait guys. Been a long-time coming

Wow, a V2?

That makes me want to invest in the bankroll then. I got to admit I've found moneypot to be... Let's say interesting but ugly as fuck xD
I mean from a design and ergonomic perspective it's really not the best thing you can find. The idea is great really and allow people to produce very interesting concepts and games. It's a good thing for players and gambling industry in general but it was very amateur work in design!

So good news here, I'm glad you decided to make it all bright and shiny! Gonna put some coins here Wink

iam hear, in moneypot V2
can support play game real human, player to player or player vs player is true or not
and what is support player to player, blackjack, poker support too or not

Yes as you can read clearly on the OP, now people can create pvp based game on moneypot. About what games that you can see then it depends on the moneypot app owners. If you know how to code then I think you can create any kind of games that can be played player vs player.
Now, bit-exo has pvp poker and maybe there will be more pvp based game in the near future.

will there be an updated version of untitled dice than includes all of the incoming changes?

Good question, though I don't think the current owners coded it in the first place, plus it seems like they don't want every idiot who knows how to use FTP to be able to have a casino (with good reason - we don't need 100 copies of untitled-dice floating around)

If you are actually serious about starting a casino, you will either have the skills to code it and use MP's very simple API, or be wealthy enough to pay someone to do it.

If you don't fit into one of those two categories, then you run the risk of being exploited and not only losing your money, but your members' as well

I know that Ryan wrote untitled dice originally, that's why I asked.

My moneypot app is specifically for my betting bot, but there are a few things it can't do. Specifically, log in with a captcha. I literally need a page where the user can log in and get his access token and make deposits and withdrawals. I will definitely get my bot up to date with the new version of the API, but I don't want to spend too much time getting that page up to date. Having an updated untitled dice script to base that on would allow me to spend more time on other development of the bot.
