Bitbobb, how was your meeting with Bittrex guys? Did it happen?

Nico, news from you?

BigMoonDiscord and other Discord members, haven't heard from you for ages. How are your projects?

Dear Mooncoin_foundation,

Bittrex meeting did not yet happen.  Reason for this is I needed to secure a signature on a large contract first that I felt is needed for that meeting.  I am happy to report I have this signature as of 8 days ago..   Messages have been sent regarding setting up the meeting for Asap since then..

Can't believe Mooncoin is still around. I remember holding more than 10 million MOON back in 2014 bought at 2 sats. Made a nice profit but now it is back at 1 sat. When Moon again?

Well, I'm just an investor like you, unfortunately I'm not able to force things.
In Dec, 2016, I've started this thread because many people were asking about that (was a good consensus):

ANN needs updating

Can you create a new Mooncointhread, because few pages later, no one knows, what u did here, because you never can change the OP here.

I would like to add to the request here for active download links to the wallets, either on the og thread or on a new one please?

I agree a new thread should be made

@Mooncoin_Foundation Does anyone have access to modify the Original Post and Forum Title?  with MoonLite progressing it would be good to have an updated OP and title?  Or consider opening another thread?

I would love to see a new ann with uptodate links and new graphics

very interesting to have new thread with updated information and new wallet , so I agree
 Cheesy

Up to date wallet would be awesome sir. then make the new ann and start from there. this is looking great for mooncoin!

An outdated original post with no one having access to change it isnt good. Mooncoin_foundation is so active, can you start a new thread instead?

Yes...PLEASE A NEW ANN...this would be nice...since weeks, is mooncoin the strongest dogecoin pair on bleutrade...

Good afternoon from Greece. I agree too with a new announcement thread.

I suggest to think about a new MOON topic, a new OP whit the right info and right exchanges.
Probably a new topic whit a well made OP will boost MOON 15 to 20%

A new thread for MoonCoin should be made so that it can stay updated with new/current information. This thread is beyond outdated and will turn away potential investors.

Why do I believe in Mooncoin? It's fair, it's moral, it's truly decentralised, backed by common people.
Mooncoin has a good community.
In fact, maybe there are not more than 5-10 coins with that features in the whole market.

Yes, Mooncoin depends on devs, but devs come and go, the community remains.
BTW, does anyone know, when is Evangelo going to complete the Moon Edu project?
Even very approximate ETA would be great. People read this thread and think nothing happens.

Barrysty1e promised the release in September,

I'm looking at getting the new release (hard fork) into place before block 1,150,000 (worst case scenario), hopefully at block 1,140,000 depending on how testing goes in the next few days. This will eventuate mid/late September, and will be a welcome change as the current retargeting system is quite harsh to say the least.

will live and see.

Shortly after the release Smart Likes very likely will be launched.

Block explorers transparently show how many coins each address has and how many were spent and when.
Mooncoin has 5 independent block explorers.
Also some block explorers have 'Rich List' with top Mooncoin addresses.
All 5 explorers show that 77 billion coins which people were discussing stay on 2 very top addresses.

no single coin was moved (spent) from these addresses since March, 2017.
That's transparent.

I am also a longtime buyer of mooncoin since 2014, 2015.  I was lucky not to have lost any in the cryptsy mess.

But a possible explanation for the bad apple that keeps posting is that they could be the pissed off thief that now has his 77 billion mooncoins blacklisted and unable to spend them.

Thanks to barrysty1e's updated wallet we have a collection of the remaining mooncoins owned by people that actually bought or mined them.

you say 77 billion coins of the 222 billion are out. so at this moment "just" 145 billion are tradable. You sure about that ? <> is it gonna stay that way ?
Yes, this is the way its been since March 2017.  Its in the OP under the section labeled "News".

These 77 billion were stolen by Cryptsy, were not delivered to the Court appointed Receiver, neither to legitimate owners of these coins during 2015, 2016, till 2017.
In 2017 some coins from these addresses went to exchanges and were dumped,
to prevent further spending of stolen coins they were frozen by barrysty1e since March, 2017, after the fork.
The best proof these addresses are unspendable: no single coin was moved from these addresses after the fork block 1,100,000, happened in late March.

So that's what they were evacuated on the market Smiley  Bleutrade with the aid of you empties scam moonn

Too much amount for 1 coin

For a brand new ICO token which wants to receive your money, yes, too much,
they understand these views and never will make a big supply,
however not too much for a coin, which wants to become worldwide adopted,
there are several billion of people in this 'small' world.

Ripple, Bytecoin are top coins with billions of coins in supply and they have billion market caps.

Tiny supplies of brand new tokens only reveal that they are being made with no future in mind,
just to make a quick buck.

Also remember about inflation, it's definitely a more important number (than the total supply) to know.

Re: MoonWord, it's not a problem, that was discussed already:

As for possible 'dubious contents', the point is not that they are connected to one's address,
the point is that though they are recorded onto blockchain, it's not like writing on your personal Facebook or Twitter page or in other way - publically,
NO, using MOON Word you are able to associate records with any Mooncoin address (however it's configured that if you use it with your own address, it's completely free, you send MOON to your own address, if you want to associate a record with another address, you'll need to send a lot of MOON to this address, that feature can be used potentially for paid short messages, or decentralized voting, or advertisements on someone's address, anyway due to that an address holder is not responsible for records, linked to his address, as anyone may record them).

If someone wants to record something illegal onto blockchain, remember, that anyway it will be encoded first.
So it's not like children will read the blockchain and will see terrible things or anything.

To read the blockchain people need
1) a decoder
2) to know the address to read

(like it's seen at http://mooncoin.com/moonword)

And the decoder is not the blockchain.

In fact it is a decoder which allows to read the blockchain, just don't read the address with your decoder and you're fine.
If there are bad things which people write on the blockchain, it's not a problem at all - to code a simple filter for a decoder, just like a filter for your browser that blocks unwanted content.

Re: deadlines,
Mooncoin is a decentralised project, there are advantages and disadvantages of that.
One of main disadvantages is that we all are not able to force or control devs and supporters,
anyone can contribute, but only if the person announces the deadline for the project and can keep the deadline which has been announced - it works, otherwise it's not possible to have deadlines and to be sure about them.

Hi  - not new to crypto and looking for opportunities; don't we all?

Can someone, preferably a MOON Dev, give me brief update on roadmap milestones in Q4 2017 & Q1 2018. Simply said: will the deadlines be made? How many people in the team and maybe team introduction? What's the marketing strategy + resulting exposure expectations prior, during and after the 'grand launch'?

MOONWORD sounds alright, but is it moderated? Who prevents some moron from posting terrorist messages or racist comments?

I am willing to invest up to 5 btc, but need some confidence for the future. For now it seems a troubled project to me.

Mooncoin (with circulation supply of cca. 145 billion) is compared to the dogecoin (with 111 billion circulation supply) seriously undervalued right now.

1 vs. 24 satoshi.
