Currently, the crypto-currency market is very popular and since it is not controlled by anyone, it is much easier for fraudsters to act.

Still there are many scopes to identify the scam and good projects.
I want to participate in the bounty program means firstly I read the white paper and team members whether they are legit or not. If all the details are fine there or not you need to analyze the information and then participate the campaign mate.

First, the english of the creator of this post was pretty good. Probably better than mine.

Due to the profitability of cryptocurrencies it's kind of obvious that people will want to step in, including the ones who don't particularly enjoy playing fair. The interesting thing about them is that they are constantly improving. Which means that the step ahead of scams and/or phishing attempts it's necessary that each one of us educate ourselves about the threats out there.

The truth is, as long as it's so easy to conduct regular mail spam and/or fake websites/ICOs successfully with profits - It will continue happening.

I personally don't like the Bounties who pay after months. It's a lot easier to understand where you are standing with weekly payment. Only with enough people putting pressure towards that goal it can happen. Sadly, too many inside those kind of bounties just use bots. Which makes it easy for them to occupy spots and do the work listed.

More and more Bounties turn out to be SCAM.
In the years 2016-1917 the era of the ICO began, and the launch of projects was very different from what we see now. Much attention was paid to the promotion of the project in social networks and in all forums. To date, everything has changed. Advertising ICO in social networks is prohibited, and good projects are trying to find good investors themselves. Therefore, many projects refuse to conduct Bounty and Eidrody. Projects begin to carry out closed ICO (for example, ICO Telegram).
But many projects continue to use Bounty to attract investors. And on my vzdlyade 50-70% of these projects SCAM. The project plans to raise money and disappear with them. Therefore, they do not mind paying a small percentage of Bounty and Airdrop.
The conclusion from this is that the choice of Bounty for work should be very careful. Do not waste 20 weeks on an empty one.
Sorry for my English.
There are a growing number of poor quality bounties and it is worth mentioning that they all exaggerate the amount of money supply for bounty, in addition to bounty management is not good. Sometimes questions of participants are not answered. Poor quality bounties are often difficult to be listed on reputable exchanges, with a high investment, but the develope team of ICO does not have any notice about that.
I still have not mentioned the ico of the virtual project. In general, the current market of ico is very difficult for us to choose a good ico to join and get income from it.

Indeed, the condition of the ICO in that year was very far if we followed last year's project maybe we could get a pretty good project because of the small ICO volume at that time because I had been in the prize for a long time so I wasn't surprised if more projects were scam because in 2017 there are many projects that are scam around 2018 with many ICOs available in 2018 so to choose a good project will pass a fairly mature consideration because we enter the project will also take a long time.

People should have more research before joining a campaign. Most of the bounty hunters don't care anything. they join without any due diligence.  That's why they don't get paid too. Before joining a campaign have a good idea about the team behind the project.

you are right and this is a problem that we cannot avoid, hopefully, all forum members can be better at choosing a bounty campaign, not because of the experienced bounty manager, but rather the information provided by the project they are supporting. but sometimes some good bounties do not pay participants well and are in accordance with what they get and do not match the spreadsheet for various reasons

That is why I only use bountyhunters as my platform for bounties. And even in that case, I don't invest much of my time on bounties. Just some tweet here and there, a little posting k  this forum that I would do anyway. You are not going to get rich off bounties, but at least the bountyhunters team will supervise the tasks and you AR assured to not get scammed of your time!

i think what you mean is 2016-2017 not 1917. yes there are scams around us but i think it is a good sign that there are investors that is trusting the technology. i think it is the time to have a strict regulation regarding icos the prevent this such unjust doings.

It's true that this year has been bad enough for ICOs, many bounties do not even reach the soft cap and so they get qualified as scam, because they end up canceling the project, is that really the market is bearish and investors are falling too, that's why you have to take better care of your investment and see if the bounty you're invested in is going to reach the end.

While it is very expedient that due diligence be done before engaging in bounties, sometimes I feel it's difficult to spot the scam while doing research. A project could tick all the right boxes for a good project and could still exit scam. It is also important to distinguish between scams and weak projects. That a project didn't do well at the exchange, doesn't necessarily imply it's a scam

I absolutely agree, there are too many scammers today, and it's really sad, because people lose trust in crypto in general, and some nice, profitable and really worthy bounties just go under the radars. Despite there are many methods to avoid scam, many people still lose their investments.

Thank you for your reminder, I have participated in the bounty project, they all have to pay tokens as a job. Nowadays, it is difficult to predict whether the tokens obtained are valuable. Working in cryptocurrencies requires a spirit of adventure. Embarrassed

The bottom line is that we should be careful when we are choosing bounty campaign, actually it is not easy to work for a very lengthy week without payment for work done.

Yep, that's why I never join bounty again in this year because of them are scam and there are many of them out there. Before joined a bounty you must 100% know is the project really good or not, and when the ICO live, is the project will get enough funds or not. Also repeatable project is trash, never join a bounty with that.

You should choose the best ico so that your time will not be wasted and you can use for the worth it on your time. Get a more information on every bounty because regret is always on the last. Understand what they want to do for the community.

Scam projects have been before, but so many that now it's a bust if you do not continue to deal with them then the scam can simply destroy the bounty

I know some people confuse scams and bounty projects that do not achieve soft-cap. I know a project that does not reach soft-cap but they are still listed on the exchange, causing many bounty hunters to think they scam them.
