Half of the forum is doing this; if you act like this, don't complain later that your posts will be deleted; you will be marked as a spammer, and eventually, you will start getting temporary bans step by step, which will eventually lead to a permanent ban.
Ask yourself, "Do you like to chew what a cow spits out?" To make it more straightforward. Cows are ruminants, and they periodically spit out their food and chew again. It is with this that all answers in some branches can be compared when users paraphrase the answers of others and pass them off as their own.
Probably a slight exaggeration, but you've obviously found a lot of the users that were abusing this technique, it's a difficult one to moderate because unless it's reported or even obvious to the reporters it often goes unnoticed by the moderators as well as the users themselves. Unless, it's written in a specific way, it can be quite difficult to ping. Especially, when they're only quoting a certain amount of the original source, as it appears less official that way, and doesn't get he alarm bells ringing.

Although, I do think most users sooner, rather than later get punished for plagiarism, it just takes time. I will say though, we appreciate your efforts in reporting those that do plagiarism, it helps clear up the forum massively.

As a new member I want to make certain research and observation.
As a forum member can I use another member post but change some words and use as mine
Can I use picture on other site and post it here
Can I copy and paste from another site.
Please I need advice.

Read the forum rules as a first step there you have answer for everything instead of coming and asking how to steal others work and make money out of it.

You can quote someone's post for replying to someone but it still means their post not yours and sharing article is fine as long as you add the source link, about pictures yes unless it has Nuditiy.

As a new member I want to make certain research and observation.

Can I copy and paste from another site.
You can but please only do it as a reference, a quote with a source link.

Don't abuse it to copy & paste just to get post count.

Generally please read Bitcointalk posting etiquette to understand more about forum rules and learn to improve your posting skills.

These are the most common rule violations that newbies make. There are other rules than these.

  • Plagiarism: If you copy some text from somewhere, then you should have a good reason for it, and you must link to the source. Doing otherwise is plagiarism. Changing a few words around doesn't matter. If we find that you plagiarized, then you absolutely will be permanently banned, even if we find it years after you did it.

In general, I'm all for being lenient. There are users who have been temp banned many times but still haven't been permabanned because their contributions outweigh their misbehavior. I actively disbelieve in the idea of a "rule of law" where hard rules exist and are strictly applied across the board as if we're all robots. Every case should be considered individually in the context of the forum's mission.

Plagiarism is what gets people permabanned, not just copying. Plagiarism is copying with the intent of passing the work off as your own. In essentially all cases, plagiarism deserves a permaban because it usually proves definitively that the person is here for the wrong reasons: to fill up space in order to get paid, not to actually discuss or contribute. If someone was able to convince us that they were plagiarizing just to eg. impress people rather than to fill up space, then a lesser ban of a few months might instead be warranted. But this has never happened AFAICR. (Arguments based on plausible deniability aren't going to work; we don't need to prove that you had the motive we see in your actions.)

If you treat posting as a job, a chore, then you must live in fear, since the forum is not made for you. In this case, you need to blend in as someone who actually cares, but plagiarism will immediately out you, and producing a mountain of useless posts will also eventually be noticed, if more slowly. If you do actually care, then this will be obvious in your posts (and probably your merit score), and you will have nothing to fear from moderators; even allegations of plagiarism will be doubted when seen in the context of your other posts.

in extreme cases could be copyright theft?

Plagiarism is almost always a copyright violation which could conceivably get the poster in a lot of trouble, but it's not a bigger legal issue for the forum than anything else. (Using the forum to violate copyright is never allowed, though.)

when copying and pasting from the net can it lower google rankings? and internal copy and past could do the same thing?

That's not a particular concern of mine.

even memes may soon constitute copyright theft

No you can't do these, and if you must do them then you need to learn how to reference the right authors to those informations you needed to pass, posting someone's else's work, research or articles is very bad and it's called plagiarism, you're stealing the person work and receiving the credit which is very bad, you need to learn how to reference the right source and quote his article to different it from what you have, in doing this you will need to input the reference link and attached to the quoted article or images, if you plagiarize you will get banned because it's against the rules here.

I'm a newbie, but I  was told that posting another person's contents without referencing the real author is a taboo here and you will be punished for it, that the act is called (plagiarism) and it is not accepted here...

I will advice you to be at the safer side, crack your brain, make some research and come out with something meaningful and educating, you might be merited if you researches are pleasing....
And if you must quote another person's work, please reference it because I don't see any harm in giving credits to the original author or writer.

Ok sir cause one of my friend did that and the account was baned but his doesn't know the cause. I really appreciate.
Maybe its possible you can write your Friends Username here and we can show how not have to doing it to be safe !
Or its like , that your so called friend maybe was your first Account and you dont want to make the misstake with this one?
Just asking as we have seen it all here already in the past .

If this is not the case , just add the source link from where you have got the post that you want to share and write here.

Why don't you try to add your personal imprint and opinions, you don't have to copy high-quality content, but rather learn and write what you can do.
If you copy something of value and write it down to the source and it's something useful, then why not? As long as you reserve the literary right of the writer.
It is not complicated, just try and you will find that it is easier than you think.

What you described above is called "plagiarism"... Copy paste, spin, twist ( what ever improvisations you make isn't necessary), cus someone will get to know; especially when we've gotten AIs and bots for detections now, they finna get that post reported ASAP.
Your original idea is worth more than anything else... Sometimes, people Also have to think from your own perspectives; even if it doesn't assume a direct, technical solutions...but it'll create a room for thinking towards a means to solve an OPs problem. Avoid importing things you see on the net into the forum, not just about plagiarising, it ain't everything you see on the net that's real.

Nope, if you copy another users post or copy directly from another website without providing the source you're not only breaking forum rules you're committing a crime. Plagiarism is not allowed, and is a ban worthy offence.  Do not mistake this for quoting other users, you can quote other users, just don't pass off their content as your own.

Posting a imagine on the forum, isn't enforced as strictly, but I'd still recommend including the source if it's original content. If it's a meme, then providing the source would be incredibly difficult. Also, note that images should generally be used sparsely, especially memes, and they should be accompanied with an otherwise substantial post.

This doesn't mean you can just copy, and paste content, and provide a source. If it's done this way, it'll likely be removed for being of low quality. At the end of the day, this is a discussion forum, and we want original discussions here. Although, thanks for trying to clarify things before doing any of them, I'm sure with that mindset you'll fit right in.
Thanks bro I really appreciate ur advice, I will learn on how to post, but it is permitted to make research online, that is acquiring my knowledge.

If you have done such before in the past, I advise you quickly go and delete such post now before it is reported. It is plagiarism and that is a big crime in the forum. Alot of members have been punished for that even after so many years later that it was discovered. The punishment for such is ban and it does not matter when that is committed.

What are you trying to do in the first place? Looks like you want to copy content just so you have a topic to post. If I were to guess, you're doing this to potentially earn profit. Well, guess what — people will easily know.
