Do you know that most traders and forum  users here lies about their dealing in bitcoins. Some exaggerate to their family and friends the unrealistic profit they claim they are making online through bitcoins and these same liers don't tell their losses. Have you ever lied or bragg to your friends about bitcoins.
Glad i'm not kind of trader like that. I will only told my family or friends about bitcoin like it was in fact, where price goes to from year to year. And not let them to trade when in market like this.

I'm not one of them. But you are likely right. Some people who had expected to earn big money, had talked about it with others and have lost money, might lie to others. Because if they say the truth, they might be called fool.
But I don't think you are right about forum users. Because they are unknown and there is no need to lie.

I don't  even have to talk to people about my wallet or anything that concern my trading activities. I always tell friends that ask about my trading lifestyle the losses and risk involve in this business first before the potential profit.

Bitcoin is GOD
No. I wish I'd been less truthful.

All of my own attempts at 'trading' have been a total disaster. I'll bet 90% or more of people here have made a massive balls up of it. Funnily enough we hardly ever hear from these people. I wonder why.
This probably has to do with the survivorship or survival bias, you never hear again from those that tried to trade and lost everything because they probably left the forum and never comeback, instead you hear the stories of the people that were successful and this may give the impression that making money trading in cryptocurrencies is easier than it actually is, it is possible those people are exaggerating or maybe they are completely lying.

But it is also likely we are only seeing a very small section of the whole universe of traders and those that win money are too eager to remain in the forum and tell us about their exploits compared to those that lose money in the market.

No I would never do that cause that's a lie, my trading history is not at all good there's no sense in selling a lie. If you're into crypto world then you need to hodl your wallet and trade info close to your chest, you can't go around blowing the trumpet it can have dire consequences. It's pertinent to note you mentioned people do it here in the forum, I have never come across any care to share few links.

I've always been truthful about my gains and investments. I know I was late for the party and I didn't make a lot of money like some people who came in 2012 or 2013 but I did it before the 2017 bubble and got enough to feel satisfied and safe. My initial investment is back in cash. I took a small profit and put some gains back into Bitcoin. Now whatever happens I'll be at peace Smiley

not for me, it will only make my reputation in the crypto world worse, so far I have joined several crypto discussion groups on Facebook, I have to admit that many of them are like that, but as long as they do not bother me then that doesn't matter, maybe just will warn them a little about what they do

You are right, some traders are dead liars. I had a trader friend who wanted to teach me good TA for a fee, I promise to get back to him. At a particular point in the process of time, I gave a signal from a paid channel, he bought him and made huge losses! this means he would have thought me how to make losses, at other times he would join a HYIP and loss all his fund. You know what? I never never needed a prophet to tell me never to take classes from him. A lot of such speculators do exist in this forum.

The future of security tokens
Do you have any proof or evidence of people blowing their trumpets about their earnings and what they've acquired in the cryptocurrency community,if you do i/everyone would love to see it..

I think people who do such(80%)are scammers who are either trying to entice you to "double" your bitcoin, or telling you of how they acquired so much interest from a particular investment, urging you to deposit to claim your rewards also,it occurs everyday on multiple telegram groups were a group of people pop in with a sort of deposit to claim,or send a particular amount of bitcoin and get double the amount, and others who are in the same trick with them start blowing trumpets of how it worked for them and how they had 4btc,but now it's 8,and all that, it's just simply crazy

No legit/real investor would come openly to let the whole world know about his/her earnings as it makes no sense and stands nothing to gain, other than being traced, robbed, scammed or killed.

I think there are few who tell lies. But in my personal opinion, I acknowledge  both loss and profit. Actually every trade has profit and loss.No need to tell lie as it is part of business.

Of course, from my past experience in this crypto space I already have followed many people for saying that he is successful in this kind of thing but end up believing that they just isn't.

My adventures in Trading have been so and so, I've had my good runs, but most of the time I failt to make the right choices. But whenever I get asked about Trading I just say that it can be a bit tricky. You definitely need the right skills to be a succesful trader, it's not about how much knowledge and info you have about the market, it's about how you incorporate that knowledge into the field.

Tbh, I have yet to see people bragging about their earnings in the cryptosphere, but whoever is doing it must have some serious issues, like an inferiority complex or something, and they try to compensate that lack of self-esteem with a materialistic line of thought. Either that or they're trying to be the main target of malicious people.

No, i just tell them if they can use bitcoin for alternatives payments instead paypal, since we are freelancer and paypal can be reversible, so bitcoin is better option.
I do trading too, but i never ask them to do trading as i do, since i do binary trading which is riskier than normal trading, imo.

whoever boasts about his earning (generally speaking not only bitcoin trading related) is always lying. because you will never find someone who is advertising their financial situation to others if there is no benefit in it for them.

Well, we do have proofs there are some who brag about the money they've made and they do in fact have or should we say "they had" that amount of money. Unfortunately, the ones with this kind of proofs are the those getting mugged, robbed or in the worst case killed.
One law in crypto is to keep your wallet secret, including how much is in it, but there will always those who will risk their own life for 100 likes and a moment of social media fame.

No. I wish I'd been less truthful.

I don't even trade but in all three times, I've sold some BTC this year I did it one day earlier than a small (~5%) pump.
The last time I even waited for 12 hours to somehow get a clue if it's going to happen again...but no luck.

in case of traders, only those idiots who think if another newbie idiot falls for their nonsense and buys bitcoin they can make profit  and if they don't they will lose everything!
