Generalization and stereotypes are great for pontification, but not of much use for reality because they falsify nothing (Hint: your OP is meaningless noise to add to the meaningless noise of those whom you criticize).

Except when you are dealing with a man who records all the data:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9666280

Notice the connection to 9/11 with a confirmation letter from the SEC to the man in prison (illegally and tortured).

There are a lot of theories.

Theories supported by evidence become fact.

I love conspiracy. I read a book by Robert Anton Wilson a long time ago and his introduction was really interesting.

Yeah, I love Robert Anton Wilson. I consider him a modern philosopher. You ever see Robert Anton Wilson Explains everything?

This is a short version but there is a full available:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cENyPmDXdVs

I like when he talks about the hermetic tradition. Find out what happens when you do this...

"Many Christian writers, including Emerson, Lactantius, Thomas of Aquinas, Augustine, Giordano Bruno, Marsilio Ficino, Campanella and Giovanni Pico della Mirandola considered Hermes Trismegistus to be a wise pagan prophet who foresaw the coming of Christianity."

Newton and his failure in alchemy:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Newton's_occult_studies

"Due to the threat of punishment and the potential scrutiny he feared from his peers within the scientific community, Newton may have deliberately left his work on alchemical subjects unpublished. "

Feel like bitcoin is partly like that at least in the beginning (find out what happens when you do x).

911 is indeed a conspiracy. just not a theory.

People denigrating others for they trying to seek objective patterns and motives are just self-centered lazy retards.

I love conspiracy. I read a book by Robert Anton Wilson a long time ago and his introduction was really interesting.
He talked about speaking around the world and said every speech he asks the same question. 'Please raise your hand if you ever tell any agent of the government the whole truth'.
He said he has never had anyone raise their hand. His conclusion is most government based conspiracies about oppression are simply that we lie to our leaders and consequently our leaders are passing laws for the populace they think they are governing, but aren't.
I always liked that. it makes sense.

What conspiracies in particular are you referencing?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ny3elI6yMMk

Pick a disaster...

Hindenburg, Titanic, 9/11, JFK...

Did you see the passenger in the video? It's real footage...I've seen the black and white...just updated with 21st century video technology.

So...the passenger shot him or the limo driver (like the title of the video says)?

I didn't see anything close to that.

title is labeled wrong...look at the guy sitting in front of him. He casually ducks....and then...

I'm not saying that those conspiracies mentioned are true, but some are...

http://www.cracked.com/article_18955_6-crackpot-conspiracy-theories-that-actually-happened.html

The government does research on many things, they just came out with something that can "read your thoughts" (if you're in an MRI machine looking at pictures...being able to see your reaction to those pictures).

And I tend to be open minded when it comes to alternative ways of looking at things.

But they usually lose me in step 2, the logical leap/lack of evidence portion.

They usually spend a lot of time on steps 1 and 3 to compensate.

Even in your article about things that "actually happened", they found that the government has done research into transmitting voices into someone's head. There is a huge leap from doing research and being able to transmit the numbers 1 to 10 to the government sending people messages to go kill someone.

The government does research on many things, they just came out with something that can "read your thoughts" (if you're in an MRI machine looking at pictures...being able to see your reaction to those pictures).

I worked for a company that had spent years and millions of dollars on ESP assassinations and ESP spying (back in the 70s). Just another instance where the government can be fooled by con artists just as easily as other people.

Those are great! (And by great, I mean terrible.) First, I've never heard of any of them. Second, the Titanic sank in 1912? Years before WWI started. Not sure how that one makes any sense at all. The Federal Reserve wasn't founded yet either, so that one doesn't make sense either. I particularly like the insurance fraud one though. That's fantastic!

All conspiracy theories in the sense of this topic explain everything and have answers. The theory explain everything in the reality, wit no doubts and no gradations.

Other legit theories that people call conspiracy theories don't have the explanation for everything, they rise hypothesis and known the truth behind many facts of the present and from the past have no known explanation, and will remain unexplained for long time, or maybe forever.

Since the world is dominated by secrets, let them be by the govern or by secret societies, if not by the sheer complication of the modern world, no one can make seriously study the modern world without conjecturing what is hidden and how to connect the numerous factors one can't study by a physical impossibility
