These pumps do no could if you are simply a holder most likely it will get pumped for a week and price will crash. We can see the case of bch the price was $700 when it was new then the price kept increasing and fell to $300 now it is getting pumped again but mostly very soon the price will fall again like every other alt.

The market is a mess right now. Random pumps and dumps with no news for no reason. Some down 20% some up 40-50%, its a shot in the dark and nothing short of gambling right now. Some people get lucky a few times and now they are experts lol. Don't get caught in the pumps right now you will end up getting burned eventually. Buy low and sell high is the most important advice to remember.
Today I followed the coin named Stratis. It looked very volatile in minutes. And it lost some value in last weeks according to graphs. It will be pumped in my opinion.

BCH looks like it is back into action and killing it once again after seeing more than 100% increase in its price in just a day after it successfully produced its first ever 8 MB block which cleared ~37k transactions in a single block and it was terrible to see that nobody knows who mined it. BCH may reach its high (my assumption) once again to ~0.48 btc a coin but let's wait and watch because those who invested too high can do that thing only. 
ABY is actually a pump-dump type while ZEC looks like a risky investment as well as expensive too whereas WAVES is one of the best possible investments currently one could make if they prefer to hold long term and it will give some real results for the wait.

BCH did not increase by 100%. It increased by 50%, which is still a lot. I can't believe it...
As for other pumps, checkout DeepONION. It is going up every week and eventually will be $1/coin. Get in cheap while you can.

I agree, because, looking at all the other alternative coins in the past until now, i have seen this pumping and dumping happening so much. It has become so often that it now is like normal and natural. And ABY, ZEC, and WAVES are not exempted. These alternative coins are bound to be pumped and dumped a lot. And the reason is simple; because any group of people can if they choose to.

I'm holding bunch of them! Cloak, ZEN, KMD even Monero and Dash because future belongs to anonymous coins and to coins which can provide full privacy and security for its users. Integrations with markets and exchanges will become next big thing.
