Dime has 8% premine and it's not going to be listed anywhere except coinedup.

And coinedup actually stopped BTC/DIME and Dime as a quark fork can be limited mined with gpu also...

At the moment it looks like Dimecoin is one of the most profitable CPU coin there is. It has more potential than the other CPU coins and it's going to be listed into more marketplaces very soon.

To be honest particle is not suited for cpu mining.
The current difficulty is insane 1355.10140618.

@bitoffer I am checking out slicify.I was using digitalocean till now.
Thank you for the valuable information.

slicify will prob lead you back to digital ocean as they are usually the cheapest. I just like to compare them all with the slicify market calculator.

Thanks for the tip guys. But $10/month is only giving you 1 core on Digital Ocean for example. How is that profitable to mine anything? It took me 8 cores to mine .1 datacoin a day. Which works outs to 3 datacoins a month = $1.6 a month. Profit = -$8.4 (rough calculations). Am I doing something wrong?

Well the 10 dollars a month does not limite you to a 1 computer, you can create i think max 5 droplets with the same cpu specs, it drains the 10 dollars though 5x faster logically ofcourse.

I set up 5cpus with the 2gb/2cpu specs and with an ubuntu distro, if i kept just one i could do a full 1 month but with 5 it will be about a week, maybe a bit more. I find this setup of 5 better since the difficulty will rise, so better to farm now when you can  Cool

I would recommend CDNcoin, it was launched just a few days ago (1.1 i think) and is pretty easy to mine because of it. Apparently it's a chinese coin which has created a big buzz over there. It's not yet on any exchange ofcoouse and it might be a risk to mine it but it could yield a big profit if you start now and it succeeds, after all isnt altcoins always a bit of a gamble Smiley

I set up a cloud mining setup to do my bidding with 10 cpus, will follow with interest how the coin will proceed!

One and only Best CPU Coin is Bernankoin (BEK).  BEK at its early stage, you can easily mine big number of coins each day.

All The Best.

What am I going to do with BEK? I have a few millions but I don't know what to do with it at all.

That's what happens when it it popular. Quark has 3500 difficulty and Frozen 2500, so 1355 actually isn't that bad.
You could find one with a very low difficulty, but then it will most likely never make an exchange.

i just got into cpu mining with the cloud. One day got me 16 Quark with 24 cores. I need 1000 quarks to have a decent amount. I quickly realized that was not worth it and now im mining datacoin. I have about 8 coins now and its going on 12 hours or so. I'm still trying to answer that question myself. I may try protoshares next.

How long does it take for you to cover the cost of the VPS ?

the cheapest clouds can be found on slicify
Im currently taking advantage of free trials and testing costs
