What is TEND?
Most investments available for people today are ether stocks, funds or assets like art or classic cars they cannot afford. Also, most of the time those investments can't be experienced or enjoyed. TEND is creating a platform ecosystem, where people will be able to invest into assets which are split by the Etherum Blockchain. TEND will change the world by making investments available to a huge market which is somehow a bit overseen by the banks. People with around 250'000 - 1'000'000 $ are not getting a private advisor from the bank and they are also not able to invest into funds, still, they would like to safely invest theyr money safely while getting an experience in return.
TEND will offer investments like classic cars, watches, vineyards, jewelry, art or even very special handbags. Those assets will be on the Etherum Blockchain and split onto the various owners. They will of course limit the respective amount of owners per asset. Each asset then brings a special experience, for example driving the car for a week per year, wearing the watch or visiting your vineyard for a weekend - the possibilities are almost limitless.TEND will do this with an ecosystem of partnerships with different brands and service providers, to ensure expert knowledge for the assets. The rollout plan particularly includes the European, Asian and South American markets.
My opinion:
I think TEND is going into a really good direction with trying to combine the world of investments with the sharing economy. Using the Blockchain as an enabler for scalability and traceability makes it therefore perfect. The team behind the project is also very promising, the founder Marco Aebele was Chief Digital Officer of Private Banking at Credit Suisse for many years and has a lot of experience in banking/investments. The COO of TEND is Rasoul Jalali, ex CEO of UBER in german speaking countries.
I've seen a video of the demo app and it already looks very promising! Check it out here:
