Apparently, I don't think there's any bitcoin exchange platforms that are to be surely 100% trusted because remember MtGox, it was one of the best exchangers back then. Just as it was the best, it immediately became the worst like bam! It turned south real quick.

I'm looking for a list of most trusted and reliable bitcoin exchanges.

I will also be interested in your opinions about these exchanges, or any issue you've come across with them over the years.

trusted bitcoin exchange equal with popular bitcoin exchange,i think its cannot deny,we are here familiar with some bitcoin exchange like coinbase, kraken, huobi, btcchina and many more, and i trust it all. so,the answer is popular exchange mean trusted,i can't pick which one most trusted because i never try it all.

Well for me, I don't considered all exchanges as "trusted" since we don't have the possesion of our coins but you have to trust them since if you don't use exchanges sites then you won' be able to trade your bitcoin with "less hassle".

Back to MtGox saga, people considered this exchange as "trusted" and "reliable" but in the end.. you all know what happened.

So my criteria when choosing a reliable exchange? Well as long as I think that is reliable, then I go for it.

You look for a exchange with BTC/USD or Bitcoin/Altcoins?
For Bitcoin/Altcoins I use Bittrex for me is a trusted exchange.

There are many sites where you can exchange bitcoins against another currency.
But I think the most secure is Poloniex, even if it can turn to the scam.

The best exchangers for me are yobit and ccex. But ididnt want only in ccex if i withdraw bitcoin they send the bitcoin in wallet and the fee of the transfer is too cheap so i need to wait many hours to came in my wallet. So if you need your money in emergency dont use ccex. And my friend said that he wothdraw but no email came up to his email and he dont confirm it. His bitcoin gone and he contact the support but the support didnt reply.

There are no all time perfectly trusted bitcoin exchanges. Every exchangers may collapse anytime. Hackers are there to trouble them, so we need to be careful ant not trusting any exchangers blindly for longtime and do not put your all money on exchangers. In my view, we never need to hold money in exchange for long time.

If youre talking about exchanging bitcoins to other altcoins I will suggest two sites. One is yobit and I am using it right now and it is very reliable. Second is shapeshift.io it automatically converts your btc to other coins and vice versa but with a corresponding fee.

The only I think its good is Yobit, its trusted by a lot of people and they are pay out well, I think its one of the best right now.

I'm looking for a list of most trusted and reliable bitcoin exchanges.

If I remember correctly, MtGox was one of the most trusted exchanges.

That's the problem with trust.  By the time it is discovered that an entity shouldn't be trusted, it's too late.  Many people have already all told each other that they trust the entity, and you quickly regret listening to those people and you wish you hadn't trusted the entity in the first place.
Yeah it is just smarter to buy off someone on localbitcoins, you have to provide your ID and it is checked before you can buy coins. I have done it a couple of times and it is very safe. I just store all my Bitcoins in my ledger wallet.

BTC-e and poloniex. I use the two exchanges. I use to trade altcoin in poloniex and using BTC-e when trading BTC/usd/eur.
both exchange was very secure and trusted
i also use that exchange,so far so good and have good response sometime. and i wish all country have own bitcoin market,in future when bitcoin accepted in every countries, each country should have exchange, and its will be the most reliable and good exchange, because its run by local people in each country.

Welt Am Draht
Despite its total anonymity and support that sounds occasionally nightmarish could the most solid exchange of all be btc-e? It's been around for a long, long time in Bitcoin terms and when it was hacked it made its customers whole. It's probably going to continue chugging long after these VC whizzbang places are dust.

I still don't think I trust it though.

Agree, one solution to this is never to store too many funds FIAT/BTC on exchange.
Avoid that at all costs, because if u don't it will be your cost Tongue

I heard bitfinex doing good, im using bitstamp coz i like their GUI mostly.

I think that better to chek other people reviews much as possibl before choosing the exchanger, but i think that most of them are fine cause it's so expenicve to make new exchangers for scammers, everytime when people start sharing informations about it.
