What a crock of shit. Is it a coin? Is it an IPO?

"We are a team of successful consultants, entrepreneurs, engineers and rocket scientists." Are you really? And do you have names? There's no need to be shy, we appreciate genius here.

"We have already participated in a number of successful Space ventures. launched a nano-satellite in April 2014, as a secondary payload on SpaceX Falcon 9 CRS-3 mission and several private CubeSat projects." Have you really? Got any proof? Links to these projects, companies involved? Something other than a coin-blog? You know, geeky, science-type stuff.

"We plan on using the Blockchain to solve some major world problems." Is the major problem your empty BTC wallet, and does your solution to this problem involve acquiring all my BTC with a scam?

We have moved SpaceBIT to the projects section. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/spacebit-the-first-decentralized-space-company-887314
We are not a coin, we are not an ICO. There may or may not be a token involved at some point of this operation. We are not looking for your btc.

As soon as some announcements come out in the near future we will reveal the team behind the project.
This is a very early preliminary announcement. It should have been placed in the projects section so we have moved it to there.

No offence, but this project looks like sci-fi.

That is how all the big projects actually looks like.

Some of them turns out to be Sci-Fi and some others turn out to be successful.
It is way too soon to judge for now.
except that people moving in (like virgin owner) have already a lot of cash to invest... crowdfunding a space mission  yeah right;D
If Virgin was creating is coin, I would say well why not... sound legit.
But here it is just a useless middleman (sorry) as that coin won't launch anything (but outsource) nor build anything to launch...

So, say I want to send a satellite to space, why would I pass by some unknown coin so they arrange my flight (is this a space travel agency ?)
Will it be cheaper ? (I don't think so... since they just outsource, and I assume companies producing satellite are either well connected already or dead...)

So what would be the advantage ?

Crowdfunding the project is not really our main focus. Its gives the community a chance to be involved. We are in the process of funding our project currently. We may or may not issue tokens in the future. Tokens will be a way for individuals to get involved. This is not meant to be the major source of funding for SpaceBIT.

We will announce some missions we have been working on soon. A large part of what we are doing is using the blockchain to solve some of the worlds problems.

Could you show the guys behind this project? I suppose they are experts and scientists.

When can we expect more info from this project? seems quite interesting

We wanted to get the announcement out now. We will be releasing more info periodically over the next weeks.

do you plan to put a few nodes into orbit ?
This is one plan we have. This is not a short term plan but we will do much more than some nodes in space.

wow I have been checking these guys out and it seems they are extremely well connected.
You were very general with you first post. Please explain some on how Spacebit will solve real world problems. What I am seeing you may have one of the top teams in the crypto space.

http://cryptobizmagazine.com/spacebit-decentralized-space-company/

http://coinbrief.net/spacebit-provide-new-way-fund-space-exploration/

This is what will make the Bitcoin industry noticed by the masses. Big projects, serious people behind it.

Looking forward to the development of this project.
