You could do that, but I do not see to much advantage to be gained especially for long term hodling. They both hold great potential for growth.

Litecoin is a cryptocurrency and you can use it for payments, whereas Neo is platform token empowering projects built upon it.

Litecoin is very correlated with Bitcoin and if BTC goes up significantly with ETF news, Litecoin will increase sharply as well.

On the other hand, I see more potential for Neo over the long-term because it's very undervalued for a platform that competes with Ethereum.

However, altcoins lost so much value and investors lost their confidence for the ICO projects, which resulted Ethereum and Neo to go down It seems like NEO and ETH are not going to move up anytime soon unless there is a demand for the ICO market.

Try to research tokens that has low price like 5 sats to 20 sats . You can easily find those in coinmarketcap coins that are new and has low price. Invest some of your money and wait for years. Example of that coin is Banca, I invested 2mil Banca and I will wait for years before selling it.

So their are a couple of things to consider in making that decision. There are a couple of gold mines sitting out there in cryptocurrency land right now. Coins right now at a very low bitcoin price that expect to see huge GAINS by the end of the year include ETHOS, UTRUST, NEO, Ontology, and don't forget about classic projects like Power Ledger and Substratum, and Basic attention Token is on the potential list for coinbase listing and even if it doesn't get listed it's build with a solid team around it and a very good project in devolving a web browser that eliminates unnecessary ad data and other related things thus improving speed and efficiency for the user.

So you would have to decide if you are more willing to long hold and keep things simple and put 99% of your holdings on one coin or if your willing to diversify and sell the peaks later on in the year and move your money around from one coin to the next when a certain coin spikes.

Also another consideration are coins that provide passive gains and this includes NEO, Ontology but also KuCoin which is an exchange coin (Kucoin.com). These coins can be great investments as they are expected to grow significantly and the steadily earn you rewards that will also grown in value with time.
They have a rewards program that pays out 50% of all fees charged on the exchange and distributes them to kucoin holders in the form of kucoins. They are a popular exchange that lists allot of new coins and often have huge giveaways for top traders of those new coins. Also they have a set plan to buy back 10% of the kucoins in circulation and destroy them every quarter, this will drive down the supply and increase the value per coin.

Might as well invest in other altcoins that you can have profit. Move from litecoin because of no movement so might as well invest in neo and eth. These two can give good gains and also search which you can have profit.

I don't see any future for this coin. It provides nothing better than Bitcoin. And there will be only one global currency. Plus the niche applications like privacy coins. I don't see the niche for Litecoin.

I think that people misunderstand the coin, they think that litecoin is not a coin that will do well but they are wrong, with the kind of project that litecoin has, there is no telling how much the coin will grow. I intend to hold onto my litecoin for however long it takes the coin to do well. In the next bull the people who sell their litecoin will be pinching themselves.

why are you thinking of leaving litecoin? I think every coin has advantages and disadvantages. I suggest you better wait for the litecoin price chart to rise for 3 months. if there is no progress, maybe you can choose altcoin from eth.

I would choose neo as well. it is a chineese blockchain which hasn't realised whole potential,so I guess it is better choice rather than Litecoin.
Another point- litecoin founder sold all his coins, so I am out

Why NEO? I think it's no better than litecoin. About NEO, I have not heard anything good. Maybe Ethereum? It is also used for ICO. Only much more popular.

litecoin may have been forgotten and for now that there are already many coins in the market, it is very difficult to stay and keep your destiny into a project where progress is still questionable, if you have finished reviewing and analyzing neo and you think that can bring something good for your investment do not hesitate to do it because it is your money that you protect,
Yes, litecoin was really forgotten by people. But the technology does not stand still, and soon it will be in great demand again!

I hold some litecoin and thinking to move into something other. I am thinking for Neo, what do you think will be a eisr choice?
Stick with litecoin or something else?

LTC is a good coin, it have a faster confirmation time than bitcoin, and low fees. Why do you want to sell and leave it ?
When you holding NEO, you will receive some GAS like dividend payments. Why you dont own both ? It is like diversifying your holdings.

If you think litecoin has no future potential, then it is a good decision to move out. I would advise you invest directly in bitcoin and Ethereum because they are more reliable to invest

This should not be because the price is low, the change will affect and cause you to lose money invested. Best to wait for the market to recover, prices will certainly be high. Any hasty decisions will pay off in regret

in my opinion, investing in ethereum will be safer than litecoin. there are many people who use ethereum for their investment. if you dont like ethereum, you can choose ripple or dash.
