Cool

Recent news showed how they are also in support of the Tor project and user anonymity.

You will invest in a company, who will most probably not record every step you take on the internet. ^Oogle Google^

Firefox imho is 80% better in functionality than EI and Crome together.

I will support them, because I believe in their product. ^Blink^

It's good for Mozilla. Maybe they will find somebody to donate. Nobody use Firefox anymore.
A simple search and I can prove you're wrong:
http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp

Firefox isn't the best browser, but offers more privacy over Chrome.
They rely on donations and they are a bit desperated for donations right now, even the home page on about:blank now have a donation button, although is kind retard that its hard to find the Bitcoin option.

That's because they prefer fiat

Now this non-profit search group has two choices

BITCOIN and PAYPAL

So you enter a donation amount and the next page says BITCOIN or paypal

http://1search.org/donate/product/donation-1-search/

That's because they want bitcoin, companies hiding btc on check out pages don't really want or support btc IMO

The price keeps dropping as more merchant accept btc.
This is only a short term affect of more merchants accepting bitcoin. As more merchants accept bitcoin, more people will wish to purchase bitcoin so they can spend it, and more merchants will eventually start offering discounts for paying in bitcoin. Eventually b2b type merchants will start to accept bitcoin (and offer discounts) and as a result the effect of buying something in bitcoin will not have the same effect of selling bitcoin on an exchange.

I think the best part about Modzilla accepting bitcoin is that it will increase user awareness of bitcoin and will give it an additional level of credibility.

Another proof that Bitcoin's fundamentals are building...

Sadly they don't fully embrace Bitcoin yet and keep the BTC. I'm really hoping that dollar conversion will become a thing of the past when a sufficient variety of products and services are available for BTC.

Well i hope Google will follow modzilla , and other merchant too.
Like Google Play , if they receive bitcoin as payment there im sure that will be another big step for bitcoin.

Maybe they will , since Google wallet is officially closed now  Roll Eyes

It's closed? What are you talking about.

Lame

Main donation page only shows 2 options: Credit Card and PayPal

You have to click on FAQ link -> click "What are the ways I can donate?" -> click "Ways to Give page" -> click "Bitcoin" -> click "To donate bitcoin, please visit this link" -> click "Donate Bitcoins"

Accepting Bitcoin donations - you're doing it wrong.

Here's the shortcut link:

Tor is not anonymous how to protect user's anonymity?

The FBI in the US have licenced a software programme called RAP BACK which has many different functions. One function of Rap Back is being able to follow Tor routes. it was the initiation of Rap Back which closed down the darknet markets couple of weeks back. They have also sold licence of Rap Back to UK but it is yet to be implemented. Nothing is anonymous anymore.

It takes a lot of resources to track anything, and even then its not assured. Unless an individual is doing something big or is under notice particularly then there is no need to panic yet.

The r/bitcoin subreddit is responsible for this move!

It's unfortunate they take bitcoin and convert it to USD immediately Sad
