Yeah well, Magical Tux could at least post here to let us know this and alleviate fears. Not everybody visits IRC to get the latest updates.

official mtgox support is by email and on IRC

the urgent thing was to fix the bug and answer people on the official mtgox support channel on IRC #mtgox server chat.freenode.net

more than 260 people had immediate answers on the IRC channel

Maybe it isn't a hack and bots had gone crazy. If it is the bots gone crazy, let punish them by winning as reasonable human beings.  Cheesy

Continuously under development (because users want more and better features) and people make errors.

Mt. Gox has been hacked:
http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=33185.0

Shut down the site immediately and do another rollback please.

Assuming something doesnt make it real.

It is a bug and is being resolved, nothing got hacked.

Yeah well, Magical Tux could at least post here to let us know this and alleviate fears. Not everybody visits IRC to get the latest updates.

Or he could not waste his time on a forum and just work on fixing the problem......

Um...all he has to say is 'I am aware of the problem, it is a bug and it is being fixed'...30 seconds is all it takes to post this and thousands of worried account holders no longer panic and spread fears.

If Tux posted here then you wouldnt have a place to post your fear mongering assumptions ie. OP. Wink

Are we sure?  I'm not seeing anything that looks like a massive selloff or anything..and a jump from 11.90 to 14.10 (which I noticed on my MtGox widget for Android) isn't anything to freak out about.  In fact, that would be the opposite of a sell off...oh well.

Nevermind, just saw the screens on another thread
