more than 260 people had immediate answers on the IRC channel

Maybe it isn't a hack and bots had gone crazy. If it is the bots gone crazy, let punish them by winning as reasonable human beings.

Um...all he has to say is 'I am aware of the problem, it is a bug and it is being fixed'...30 seconds is all it takes to post this and thousands of worried account holders no longer panic and spread fears.
If Tux posted here then you wouldnt have a place to post your fear mongering assumptions ie. OP.

err 'scuse me I'm on there and I was rading this aff'... I tried to buy just now but it won't do anything and the pages aren't loading quickly - it's all gone tits up I'm afraid...
