Thanks for clearing that up. So it makes no sense and the people who keep their money there are retards.

That is what I thought.

I have the same problem as well.

Does anyone know when the live support is supposed to be online?

I think right now is day time over there right?

I made a bitcoin withdraw for like 8 hours ago, and still nothing is showing ( not even 0 confirmations), yet it is still a confirmed transaction from mtgox with mail and everything. Anyone else having the same problem?

Just reading this, how awesome is bitcoin? Imagine if you went down to your bank to send a wire transfer. When you got home you realized they screwed up and didn't send it. So you just go on their site and send it yourself not waiting for them to fix it.

lol, I want broadcast my USD withdraval

You owe me a laptop, I was drinking.. rofl !!!

Cheers

The problem is not needing to know how to broadcast the transaction, the problem is not knowing if all of my transactions have been broadcasted or not. Sometime's i'll make many transactions from gox to other exchanges, its difficult to then have to double check that every transfer actually went through.

The other transactions displayed there are not broadcasted yet, too.
Just convert them from base64 to hex and enjoy broadcasting them yourself.

Wow. I can just see 99% of Mt Gox's customers "enjoying" the experience of manually formatting and broadcasting their own bitcoin transactions. Their tech-savvy customers breeze through challenges like blind-fold chess, cryptic crosswords under time pressure, such fun-loving brainiacs...

But why are a bunch of transactions not being broadcast? Would they eventually be broadcast on their own? Or are they just orphaned?

It was an huge transaction with lots of inputs, they didn't broadcasted it but they published it online, here: http://mtgox.com/api/0/bitcoin_tx.php , one just had to search for it's transaction and broadcast it themselves.

eh

why didnt they broadcast your transaction?

Exactly what i'm wondering.
