Is it only me who has a lot of disconnects today?
My rigs are getting kicked over to their failover pool.  Something going on - possibly someone is attacking the pool.

Thats what the news on the website says. I been trying to mine there since yesterday and i lost most of the hashing i tried to send there.

Always have Failovers set in your mining software (if it supports it)... I have almost every multipool and a single LTC pool on my failover pool list just in case.

There have been DDOS attacks across various pools for the last week... Wafflepool, Clevermining, and now CoinFu.

I do, cgwatcher kept changing from coinfu to backup pool to coinfu to backup pool 2, 1 switch every minute on the clock almost all night, i got about 25% of what i should have spreaded on 3 different multi-pool, cgwatcher seem a bit silly to have went all the way to 5th url on the list (pool #2) regularly just because it was first pool to offer work and then switch again after 1 minute, seemingly without finishing its share. (Or so i assume, i dont see why else)

Tldr *shrug* ima wait till coinfu is stabilized. :3

We've been under attack since yesterday afternoon PDT. We are finding and fixing holes as fast as possible. As long as you can connect to the pool mining, it is still good to go. Our main goal is to provide the miners with the best service and profitability possible. Keeping a failover server will keep losses to a minimum while we get through these growing pains.

If any of the other crypto currency services want to team up to share techniques and ideas to prevent attacks on the community we would love to hear from you.

I'm trying this pool out too... webbson's PoolPicker graph for this caught my eye... we'll see how it really performs.
Profits are looking great so far - 24 hour average is above 0.0061BTC/day per MH/s right now, and my earnings match this (reported hashrate is very stable/accurate on the site too).

What's the fee going to be once it's out of beta? Will it stay at 1% like wafflepool?

Waffle has moved up to 2% per recent announcements in poolWaffle's thread.

Giving this pool a shot today.  Looks interesting and the reported profitability seems excellent.

Would love to hear back. Anybody else have anything to report??.....the numbers seem almost too good to be true.
Looks solid so far - reasonable reject ratio, interesting coin choices, switching seems quite smart.  Coins have been exchanging quite quickly - most of my balance after a few hours is exchanged/ready to pay and there is a smaller chunk of immature.  Profit looks excellent so far, for a much-too-short sample window.

http://coinfu.io

How to Get Setup
CGMiner Command Line Example:

cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://uswest.coinfu.io:3333 -u myrig1_17b2Yu4jmErkcBQrL39QxCXc15WZYokzKQ -p [email protected]

Set the username of your miner to WORKERNAME_BITCOINADDRESS and set the password to your email address. If a worker stops submitting shares for over 15 minutes, an email will be sent to alert you. You will also receive an email letting you know when your worker comes back online. The worker name and email are optional, but both are required to get email alerts. Do not use "--no-submit-stale" for cgminer as this would prevent cgminer from submitting shares that you would otherwise get credit for.
