We don't recommend coinbase since you don't have full control of your wallet what we mean is that you don't have its private key wherein you can access it whatever wallet software you are using I could suggest that you should invest on hardware wallet in this case you can assure that it will be safe and you have control of your wallet plus it do support different cryptocurrencies.
If you want to get a wallet that can be used for many cryptocurrencies then I think a trust wallet can be one of the best choices because so far I know that trust wallets can accept various types of coins and tokens.

paper wallet you can make use of Mycelium, Bitaddress, or Walletgenerator.
If you mean WalletGenerator[.]net, it's not good to generate a new wallet because it makes you lost the fund.

Walletgenerator code has been changed, it could make duplicate your keypairs. These generated keypairs were also potentially stored server-side.

Disclosure: Key generation vulnerability found on WalletGenerator.net

I don’t make use of paper wallets, but I know some of the sites that can be used to create, and Coinbase is not one of them; I make use of the Coinbase wallet and they don’t offer such feature.

My friends are making use of paper wallets, but I don’t use it because I don’t think it is safe for me, so I don’t want to make use. That it seems safe for others, doesn’t mean it will also be safe for you, there are lots of things you have to put into consideration to decide that for yourself. But if you want to create a cryptocurrency paper wallet you can make use of Mycelium, Bitaddress, or Walletgenerator.

but I don't understand why you need something like that, mine In my opinion this is not safe, paper can be broken or lost very quickly
IMO, he wants to prepare to hold cryptocurrency he mentioned for along time.
Maybe he worries to keep online.

For sure when keep it offline (paper) will be safe than online.
Let's google it how to protect a paper.

Hi
Is it possible to have a multi currency paper wallet? I want a paperwallet that can be used for bitcoin, ethereum and ripple.

Can someone recommend a website to create paperwallets? Is it possible to do this in Coinbase?

Thank you.

If you absolutely need your wallets on paper, create your wallet with software from the appropriate provider, copy the address and private key/seed from there and print it on paper, so you have your paper wallet, but I don't understand why you need something like that, mine In my opinion this is not safe, paper can be broken or lost very quickly

IMO,  everyone above has missed the important point in OP's question - a paperwallet (rather than paperwalets)..... for BTC, ETH and XRP. Apparently he meant a wallet with single private key that could control all three cryptos mentioned. That is impossible. The private keys of those cryptos do not overlap therefore each of them needs its own paper wallet.
Not possible to hold a single private key for the mentioned coins as obviously they have different structures. So the best solution is to have a separate paper wallet for the three. However, there are also a danger on doing that as someone already pointed out that it is not safe, specially if you don't know how to protect those paper wallet. So it's better to get a hardware paper, in my opinion.

Fact is most of crypto enthusiasts need to use a free paper crypto currency wallet for a start, and for multi wallets imtoken, and trust wallet offer this services to great extent. But you must ensure to keep your seeds safe from a third party. Also, do not use a website to create paper wallets, as you could get cloned.

Coinbase is a centralized wallet and exchange, i am not sure they have a recovery phrase.

There are many steel solutions for these recovery phrases: Bunkeroid or Cryptosteel.
It's not good using steel the rail-based design, because can't be standing under pressure, some letters falling out of their slots and it is difficult to arrange each seed.

I suggest using Cryptotag or Blockplate

I highly do not recommend storing all your cryptocurrencies on one paper. Ledger and Trezor use this paper for recovery seeds when your hardware wallet stops working, but storing on paper is not the smartest solution. There are many steel solutions for these recovery phrases: Bunkeroid or Cryptosteel.

I don't seem to recommend also about paper wallets, worrying about losing keys and access to the wallet, so not many are using it anymore, there are still many wallets that can be used for multiple wallets, I use Coinomi and trust wallets, but maybe it's safer you can use a wallet coinbase because there are already ETH and XRP there
Won't you be in worries about losing your private keys or recovery seed when using mobile wallet and even hardware wallets? Are they not all the same? They all carry same risks which is keeping the private keys safe

Yes there are many paper wallets available but you need to find a specific paper wallet of a particular coin, I don't use paper wallet because its too inconvenience for me, I'm better using trust wallet which support hundreds of different coins

Maybe there are some websites that provides paper wallet for multiple cryptocurrency.
But still, it is not too secure to store your coins on it, unless you know who provides you that paper wallet.
You must find a reliable and trusty website or other 3rd party to store your coins.
There is no such thing exists, you need to create separate paper wallet for each of your currency or better go for cold storage like hardware wallets.

You just need th wallet generator but don't trust anyone, creating a paper wallet should be done completely offline to ensure no one can access to it.

Coinbase is an exchange, AFAIK, you can't do it with them but I've found an old blog from them year dated 2013 that it's possible for bitcoin but I don't know if they still support it since it's 7 years that has passed.
It's too old, I bet coinbase already removed that option since the announcement got removed too [4]

[4] https://blog.coinbase.com/post/51573799308/use-coinbase-to-export-your-bitcoins-to-a-paper-wallet
Yes, it's too old and I'm not sure that it has been already removed. The link that you provided says error found. But, I guess it's okay to assume that it has been changed and no longer supported by Coinbase.

Yes it is possible, there are varieties of paper and online wallets, cold and hot wallets, hardware and software wallets that supports bitcoin ethereum ripple and may other coin at same time. Check on the list below and choose the one you prefer to use.

[1]. Ledger Nano X
[2]. Trust wallet
[3]. Coinomi
[4]. Exodus
[5]. Trezor
       And many others
If you search more on search engine like Google, there are many phishing sites imitating those apps listed above, so I would advise you go through their respective website and download them from there, never search from play store for its a risky act to avoid been scammed.
Also keep your private key in a safe place either offline or online cause that the prospective measure of wallets security and privacy policy.
So, the question was how to make multicurrency paper wallet and how those you've listed are related to the question?
I mean you can generate a wallet there, export the seed phrase and/or private key and delete the wallet in an app.
But is it the only available method? As far as I know one can make only a one currency paper wallet

I would not recommend that because to access his crypto user would need to save derivation path (besides SEED) for each coin he want to keep. This may be confusing for man especially if him is kind of newbie.
It doesn't need to save any derivation path. You only need to write/keep 12/24 mnemonic seed on paper.

to know receiving address (public address) each coin, select coin tab.

to sending and payment using Bitcoin, eth, xrp or any coin, use BIP39 compatible wallet such trustwallet, coinomi etc.

paper wallet is generally a backup for your seed/private key, since most of the time you still need to use a software to generate the tx, sign the tx and etc for you. you can just export your seed and then write it on to a paper, then secure it. you can generate the seed on any multicurrency wallet like trust wallet, then you should be fine with it.
