I tried this too on nitrogen. But generally most of it was all basketball but different leagues I used to watch. I placed a parlay bet on NBA, NCAA and a local basketball league. I was also able to do a basketball, tennis, and NFL bet. The multipliers are quite high, but seriously the chances were pretty low to win it. But if I did win it, it would have been glorious!
I would say the reason why there aren't many sportsbooks enabling this feature is because usually gamblers are just really betting on a single league or game.
In most cases where gamblers do really make bets on a single game only a few would tried out on multisports due to multipliers but same as you said chances would really be low.If you do know on what you are doing then it would be an advantage but if not then better to stick on what kind of betting you do have in the past.
Just so I'm clear, a parlay bet is the equivalent of an accumulator bet?

as I understand it, this kind of betting is almost equivalent to buying a lottery ticket i.e. the odds are terrible, but the win is huge. Having worked in large sports books in the past, I can say these kind of bets appeal to people who don't care that much about the value of a bet... I.e. the Saturday punter who bets on a football league. I guess that's kind of obvious
I definitely think with the gradual shift of Bitcoin to the mainstream, I can see these Bitcoin sports books getting more and more prolific as long as they avoid trouble with anti-money laundering and gambling legislation. Saying that, running a sports book is a lot more complex than running a casino.
With casino games, the average return to player is predetermined, so on average an operator can predict return to player and thus their own revenues.
But with sporting events, your relying on combination of the market view on the odds and of course a judgement call by the sports book on what odds to offer. One big mess up on setting the odds for a large sporting event and that's your profit margin gone from long time....
You then look at accumulator bets and if the odds aren't appropriately set, losses to operators can be huge. So why don't you get more crypto accumulator bets? I think there's probably a technical issue and if an operator is working to really thin margins, is probably quite a lot of risk.
I have looked into setting up a sports book, but it's such a big complex project, I would rather just concentrate on what I know best i.e. Oshi.
