If you need problem with recover btc -> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12854091

Thanks for the reference, paputa Smiley

And yes, it is very interesting that several Multibit-HD wallets are having that kind of weird behavior.

Well, if you got your words seed, you have nothing to be afraid of; but if you need someone to help you restore your wallet, I can help you (It requires trust, but it's the only way, AFAIK).
Thank you for recovered the wallet

I have the same problem today. I open a Support request on GitHub. This seems to be pretty intersting bug.
Hope for quick resolution.

link to GitHub: https://github.com/bitcoin-solutions/multibit-hd/issues

That an interesting variant to the problem, but different than mine. Are you unable to close the window and go to options as well? And you say you can never get past the login screen its at the login screen that you click restore/create instead of "unlock".

Yes I was unable to close the window prompting for password. I was really unable to pass login screen anyway.
The only method which work for me was to get back and restore backup of wallet. But I need to choose one which was couple weeks old.

The same bug raised on the multibit-hd issues database:

https://github.com/bitcoin-solutions/multibit-hd/issues/753

This was after an overnight Windows update apparently, though not sure if that is relevant.

I did not forget jim. If you still want it i will still give it to you but i'm still waiting for the pool payment, they're being slow as hell, usually they pay everyday even if its 0.005~.

@VirosaGITS - thanks - I will have a look at them this week.

@BitcoinNewsMagazine - Lighthouse and MultiBit HD are 100% compatible on their usage of wallet word so if a user is having a problem with MultiBit HD then Lighthouse will almost always enable them to get their bitcoins back.
So i clicked restore wallet, picked a backup, used the same password and it worked, so;

I decided to scrap the wallet and thus i will give it to you. If getting access to the wallet supersede going through the log, then don't bother with the logs. I will have to figure out uploading it to DropBox and i still need to wait for a last pool payment before i can do it, i'll receive it in 12 hours~

So just to be certain, i will give you the content of this folder;
mbhd-c296dfce-72cca735-bbae1b8a-01442e00-3528f25a

And that will leave any other wallet i created safe?

Ok fix the problem with this:

So i clicked restore wallet, picked a backup, used the same password and it worked, so;

 Thank you very much

Hi VirosaGITS,

Thanks that would be very useful.

Yes, if you zip up the mbhd-c296dfce-72cca735-bbae1b8a-01442e00-3528f25a folder that has everything wallet specific in it.

Any other wallet with different wallet words is completely separate to that one - there is no connection between wallets if they have different wallet words..

From your description it does sound like a bug in MultiBit HD. As long as you (or anybody else) keeps their wallet words safe it should be ok. Needs looking at though definitely.

Thanks,

Jim
