Personally, I think Musk is partly influenced by bad advisors, just like Trump was in his first term. This is not to say that he won't take advantage of policies and ideas that many of us think are wrong. But he is a businessman. So, he will do business the ways that he can. I believe he is acting mostly in a good direction for all of us as well as himself.

While you are probably right about nobody going to Mars, and while all the Mars talk is probably only there to move money around to the talkers, what is Musk really doing? He might be secretly building the Atom Bomb Rocket ( https://newatlas.com/orion-project-atom-bomb-spaceship/49454/ ) in space where it couldn't hurt anyone, but only pollute the universe a little.

Nobody is going to Mars, bitch. If anything, SpaceX will just pollute space with as much space junk as possible so that we cannot even send any new satellites into orbit.

Trump and Musk are going to be great allies in getting to Mars during Trump’s Presidency. Elon knows Trump wants to be President when that American flag gets planted on Mars and Elon knows that means SpaceX will get a pass to do as many test flights as they want. I’m just worried I won’t get to buy stock before the IPO.

On November 12th, Trump announced that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will work together to lead a new "Department of Government Efficiency" . Trump said the department's goal is to "break down government bureaucracy, cut unnecessary regulations and wasteful spending, and reorganize federal agencies."The two of them are still in their "honeymoon phase" for now.

Don't  you realize that the American Dream being different in the eyes of different people is part of the American Dream? Did you notice how many people came up over the border when they had the chance? They were all looking for the American Dream. But, certainly, for somebody like me who was born in the US America, the dream is different than it is for those crossing the border.

Many people think that the American Dream is to leach off government. And they would be right, for themselves. But it is also the American Dream of others to stop supporting the leechers so that they are forced to work for themselves rather than essentially steal from those who are being forced to support them. All that Trump and MAGA want to do is let all people do what they want... including Trump and MAGA people. This means to let people take their own responsibility for their lives, and stop leeching off others.

Some people want to belittle, for example, homosexuals. But guess what. Homosexuals want to belittle them way more than they want to belittle homosexuals. Why should my business be forced to hire homosexuals if I am against homosexuality? Let the homo's go out and start their own business where they don't hire straight people.

Do you really want to support the things that you are against? If not, why can't it be the same for other people? If so, why are you talking against Trump... just because he supports things that you are against? Is it right for you to fight for your ideals but Trump can't fight for his?

Are you even aware the American dream is a pretty different concept depending whom you ask about it, though? Your vision of the American dream could be one which is completely opposite of other people who live and was born in the country like you did.
The Republican party and the MAGA coalition wants to push forward a vision which does not reflect the American dream for an important porcentaje of the population.
Hell, there will be people in the USA whose concept of the American dream does not even include people who are homosexual, so they want them to be excluded and belittled, while on the other hand the vision for the country in the eyes of other people is to include all races, religions, genders and sexualities within the same society, where each one of them work to make the country better for all of them.

But I see the opposite happening, Musk looks like he will be a key figure in a future Trump administration. According to CNN, Musk participated in a phone call between Donald Trump and President Volodymyr Zelensky about the conflict in Ukraine. Not stopping there, during the election campaign, Trump also promised to give Musk an influential position in the government if elected. That shows that Musk will almost certainly become a politician and getting involved in politics is completely beneficial to his business, IMO. It won't affect his business as much as we think.
