Musk is really going to make this Doge bubble pop at some point and its going to hurt the industry, I started a petition to basically ask him to stop swaying the market.
Check it out and sign and share everyone.

Let me know if I should make some changes to it too, I can go back and edit it.

I think Elon Musk's passion in cryptocurency currently makes cryptocurency increasingly popular in the world. and now many people have benefited greatly from the increase in the price of the doge. so it does not bring losses but brings benefits to the crypto industry. i think why you say that  Musk is going to hurt the Crypto Industry?? please answer

Such "imbeciles" enter the market every period. There was John Mcafee a few years ago. Before that, others. Looking back now, it's all been forgotten. But the crypto world continued to grow. It will be so again.

You know this market, part A must loose for part B to gain but no matter what they to the market, as long as you are long term holder, one shouldn't care, they will get tired and will be forgotten.
I think the grace Elon still has is the company name, people are all investing on his sensation tweet purposely because of SpaceX.

It doesn't matter what Elon Musk does or don't do, what matters most is how people react to any piece of information he shared online, only if the crypto community give him the opportunity to hurr the industry, he is not the only wealthy person in crypto who has invested, it is just unfortunate that some pay attention to him more than they should, good thing he is thinking more positive ways to be part of this space despite everything, I hope this time is for the better.

Not to all. Maybe for his followers he has that power, but for me. Nah.
I've been hearing this "on and off" about Bitcoin and people just act accordingly to that kind of bs that he is pulling.
Me? I just hodl.

I am doubting that he cares about what others think about his actions, so petitions are not likely to help. As soon as he can manipulate the prices and benefit from it, he will do it.
On the other hand, he claimed that he wanted Bitcoin and crypto in general to be successful. Musk said he believed in cryptocurrencies as a way to "increase the power of the individual in relation to government," and that he has invested in Bitcoin, Ethereum and dogecoin.

elon is a very smart guy, he managed to clean up his image at this conference and he still managed to make the price of bitcoin go up a lot, i must admit the guy still has a lot of influence unfortunately. with his statements explaining that he has not yet sold bitcoin and his position in relation to mining I think we will have more peace in the coming weeks and months

I don't think it's going to help because he probably won't see it at all unless this story goes viral and lots of people spread it, and maybe after seeing it he'll just say it's exaggerating, and things will go back to how they were.
I think there's no need to create a petition because the people are already watching Elon. They know what is happening so they can decide already on their own. If they chose not to follow Elon anymore, then Elon will create no impact anymore on the market. And i think that's what most of us are wanting and its definitely a good thing for the crypto market.

And how do you think this petition will work? Twitter banned mask?
No, Twitter didn't banned Musk.
Musk is not a fool and perfectly understands what he is doing, why is another question.
Nope, he don't understand it before that mining bitcoin is completely fine to the environment when he's concerned about its usage of electricity.
He has already compromised his authority in the crypto market through his endless and incomprehensible tweets, now the community, like the whole world, will relieve his chatter with less trepidation.
Because he's back at it again but going now with the side of bitcoin. Everyone is tired of him for real.

We need to do are best effort to stop Musk hurting the industry, but the reality is, Elon elite and oligarch attitude will never be change unless someone or somebody make it happen by force, like I posted in my thread that Anonymous gives warning to Musk >> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.57171875, but another question is, do they have enough money and resources like ELon have?

will have no effect and impact on musk, there are so many insults and comments on musk's twitter account and he just ignores them and replies to some of the arguments he thinks deserves to be answered.
so a petition like this won't prove anything.
Yes, because he actually knows what he has to do for himself so it's only natural that he ignores things that don't need to be responded to, because everyone needs to run the idea in his own head before he can have fun with the results he will get.

I'm a great fan of Elon Musk and is loving what he's doing with the crypto market. He has been a rebellious and unpredictable. Influencing the market with his tweets actually are warning for the market to not get influenced by a certain people or group rather go for what you believe. But market doesn't work with logic and reasoning, it works with sentiments and fear. It's good for Musk if he's making money with just his tweets.

We all know who Elon Musk his, he  a billionaire not just an ordinary business man who is  influencial. This man has a  influence in the crypto market which is limited to some cartain coins. I won't advice anyone to invest in Dodge coin cause of it great risk because Elon may just decides to dump it just the same way he dumps Bitcoin and criticize it of being hazardous to climate change. Since his aims is to make more profits from the market which is the ultimate reason he dabbled into the crypto market, i could advice anyone to just to leave it cause he can suddenly dump it once he has accumulated enough profit.

I have signed the petition that you created, although this activity does not have a big influence on Elon Musk, but this is a form of my support for the OP who also doesn't like Elon Musk's activities in the cryptocurrency world.
It took 90 more people for this petition to appear on the recommendation page of change.org

Well, looks like what you said happened already and the petition never really did anything to orevent stupid people from losing money. What's worse is that not only did Elon Musk fcked up dogecoin, he also fcked up bitcoin with his trolling. That bastard whom I used to idolize turned this whol industry to a joke. And even with all these happening in front of the public, most people still choose to give credibility or weight to his tweets. The direction this industry is heading is really scary.
There's nothing we can do about what Elon did to the crypto market so i guess ignoring him is the best thing to do. The market only shows that its not matured yet because even a single tweet from a millionaire brings too much impact on the market.

If we cannot prevent dogecoin from surging high, then maybe we can also take advantage of the situation just like what Elon did. We can start investing into dogecoin just a small portion of it and if it reaches beyond our expectation, we can also make profits. If it suddenly dump along the way, no worries atleast we only invest on the amount we can afford to lose.

Elon Musk is too quick to change his mind about bitcoin, confusing his followers. If there really is a connection between Musk tweets and the BTC price change, then we can say that Musk's last tweet https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1404132183254523905 in which he called the condition for the resumption of the sale of Tesla for BTC, which caused a positive reaction, led to an increase in the price of bitcoin and, accordingly, the entire market.

No one has signed yet, maybe because even if we sign this petition, nothing will happen. Elon will continue to use his power to manipulate the market, but only those who lack the knowledge will fall for this and will regret in the future. It's bad for crypto but when they realized and understand that manipulators do exist, it should not affect the market in a bad way.

Can I ask you one question, the petition you wan to write, how are you sure it is ever going to get to him or even see it? It's just going to be a waste of your precious time. Let's focus on what's it's important. He is free to do anything with his handles as he pleases. He is just making use of the power at his disposal. The world will pay to listen to him. You can also make use of the same means to say something good about any coin and see how far it would go. But in the meanwhile, let us follow the trend and make our gain. That's my submission.

I see no point trying this. Even if the petition had an effect, as long as people let themselves be influenced in their investment decisions, there will always be someone who exploits it.
The investment problem is a matter of one's belief and trust in a particular industry, because every investment must always end in profit, that is a common thing that investors want, otherwise anyone would not want to invest in anything.

Agreed. But whether there is an exploitability problem depends on how belief and trust is established.

If it's established just by reading someone's Twitter feed, then it's easy to see that that person will always be able to "react" earlier than anyone else. The person can buy or sell before posting while anyone else can only do so after reading the post. Thus, the person that posts can always get the biggest part of the earnings (if there are any). If the profit margins are small, the person might even be the only one having positive profit from it.

People who act like this in spite of the obvious should not whine afterwards.
