It's reasonable to ask that question to one of those damn evil clerics that Muslims think can answer and interpret all questions relating to the Koran.  I only answered directly a ridiculous question by Greenbits about "which part of Sharia law do I object to."

Of course, many other parts are extremely objectionable.  But the point of my comment is that the Koran and hadiths attempt to control an individual's life down to the most minute detail.

I'm Christian, and pretty serious about it, but if we could get past our differences and sit down, you would find we have similar views about organized religion. Under the current political atmosphere, a Christian would never get away with a child sex crime in any of the Western nations. That could have happened in the 60s or the 70s, but definitely not now. On the other hand, the Muslims seems to be having a free run. Check this:

This right here is beyond false, if you're attempting to just say that a Christian would've gotten away with some sort of child sex abuse / molestation is just beyond disgusting to say. You and me both know that anyone who is a child molester is looked down upon and charged + usually convicted for their crimes (In the Western World I'm speaking of)

I'll bring up one of the most controversial cases of child molestation in the Western World which was the 2000's reports of child molestation's by thousands of priests upon children within the Christian faith. Once it was put to light, all of these people were tried (if possible) some had been convicted, others sued and so on.

Please provide some more evidence on the ignoring of sexual abuses if someone is white, Christian, and so on and so forth. It'll really amplify you're claim.

Sharia is ideal for Muslims. They are just trying to impose Sharia law in their countries. The whole world sees what the Muslims want to make the world by the example of the Islamic state. I don't want to live in such a world.

And as an atheist, I'm assuming you used to come from an Abrahamic faith. In my experience, most atheists reject a childhood religion when they see it grossly misapplied. I think it's a good thing to ban athletes, or any public figure, from big public events such as sporting events. Athletes serve as role models to many young athletes and molesting children isn't an aplaudeable attribute. Giving them a podium sends a wrong signal to anyone who looks, or looked, up to them.
