I've had more than a few 'Newbie' sellers off the Marketplace that claim to do Escrow , but want payment of shipping fees upfront.

They are scams, as these dbags don't mind making up new accounts and scamming a few people out of small BTC with no recourse, thinking they are getting a deal.

BEWARE people.

Rules for picking out scams :
No Escrow = SCAM
Escrow, but pay for shipping upfront = SCAM

Also, the old Bait and Switch.
They claim to have on hand item for shipment, yet after dealing, turns out they are for 'pre-order' or future delivery date.
Only a moron would buy something with a future delivery date knowing the difficulty increases and possibility of a total SCAM.

I think this posts should be sticky on the page so everyone can see the latest trend that unscrupulous individual are bent on exploiting just to rip someone off his hard earned resources without any recourse to conscience, morality or even karma.

But unfortunately some people will still fall for it despite the several warnings on the forum and even something like this. I have come to realise that majority of the people selling around here are just newbies account, that alone is enough as a flag for anybody to not only be careful when dealing but be extra careful as new skills are being churned out every time to scam.

When dealing with a member for escrow, double and triple check their username and trust feedback.
Check their profile which will show if they have recently changed their passwords. If YES, be careful!

Word about the Trust system :
Lately I've seen it act 'funny' by not properly showing positive feedback, so bear that in mind.
Negative feedback sometimes could just be an accused scammer trying to 'get even' by leaving some BS feedback.. (Like in my trust feedback)
