Who joined here for Muyan66 online beating. Many Filipino was scammed for this Team. Around 187billion Usd they caught from them. Many got suicide because of what's happening.
I remember some of my friends which also my colleague playing this online betting site and always shilling or posting about his tether USDT earning.
I'm not familiar with this online betting application but as what I read about it, huge scam, a normal cryptocurrency scam that using crypto to get lured people, especially those newbies.

It looks like so many Filipinos were scammed by muyan were the new comers. This is also happening with so many bitconnect investors a few years ago. I just know if there are lots of Filipinos were short term players and they didn't wanna try to hard way to get the profit. They were looking for an instant investment. 5% daily interest is totally a non sense thing and even when you have participated in the farm or staking pool and it will be impossible to earn 5% in daily basis.
I suspect if the majority of muyan66 victim were people that didn't have basic knowledge about investment.
Well, it's true that most of their victims have no idea what are potential scams are. And it's because that there are still many of our countrymen that are only looking for rich quick schemes but don't want to understand what are the legitimate investment platforms are and the way of earning through cryptocurrencies. When you educate them, they feel bored and don't want to listen if tell them the truth. This is based on my experience personally. I've thought with several people that have the same thought towards crypto and they don't want to go through the normal process of earning and instead, they're looking for these scam platforms.

Sorry to see more people fall victim to these methods of scam but 90% of scam methods can be easily detected if people stop being greedy and ask some serious questions.
We must protect these people by showing them how to identify scam and how to detect it. Otherwise, scammers will continue to scam people and eat their money.

What's Muyan66 ? Sounds like another type of MMM shit, well there are too many poor people in the Philippines I heard so when an opportunity like this comes it's easier to fall for them, it takes a strong soul to abstain from money doubling schemes, I hope the team behind this got arrested
Something like that. Possibly a HYIP. It's my first time to hear about this too although I am a Filipino.
Maybe it's because I am not looking for this type of investments. It's only for the greedy ones who wants easier money in an easier method with rush to make profits. High risk, high profits and that kind of view had been drilled all over the internet and it's not looking good anymore.

Checked it. They will look like financial advisors that offers where you should put your money with a 5% daily interest rates.
Sounds good? Yes, too good to be true. It was said they paid the first 3-5 daily interest and was gone after that.
I will never get scammed this way because I don't tend to run after something that's too good to be true, I rely and depends on what I worked for, poverty is really the root of all evil because I believe that's why all these people fell for such scam but some HYIP are just plain scam because their offers are too good which is impossible but yea poor people have dream too some of them are just not that smart to think deep

they were saying that you can profit 5% daily from the project. so that is a very big amount for it to be legit. a friend asked me about it since i'm known to them being an investor in crypto which i also said is a scam. glad to have told them to avoid it.

people don't have jobs. pandemic makes these people find ways to make money and maybe they see the muyan66 to be an alternative. thinking they could profit before it's going to vanish.

I certainly heard something about a scam team in the news but I didn't take much attention to it.

~
Well it is kind of harsh here in the Philippines right now as it is in the middle of the pandemic for obvious reasons that many got unemployed and from that, you won't be surprised how many people are willing to risk their own just to chase for money without even trying to do such research.
Either these people that got scammed got referred by people affiliated with that team or they just really threw their money blindly into it.

Muyan66 destroyed many greedy, gullible, and hard-headed Filipinos.
can't said it better. the scammers are at fault, but the victim has some contribution to it. it's not a matter of nationality or something like that, but people behavior. just like the past scams such as bitconnect, and more.

Muyan66 destroyed many greedy, gullible, and hard-headed Filipinos.

Many of them were warned beforehand but they refused to believe the signs that it's a ponzi scheme. All they wanted to know is whether it was paying or not and that's enough for them. I pity the victims took their lives and those still alive who lost a lot of money but it's also a good thing that they learned a hard lesson.

So this was a ponzi scheme? If so then I dont think anyone other than the investors are to blame for their folly. This is 2021 and even today we see scammers put up ponzi schemes and pyramid ventures and each of them are known to be scam. But still someone invests in it hoping to be at the top and exit before others can.
This is definitely a Ponzi scheme that aims to make the people at the top richer and make it look like everyone will profit from it. Waiting for this to pop and it has. I can't believe that people are still doing that. And I remember last year that a viral company circulates in social media that shows that they are "profiting" from investing. The catch is, you need to invite other people to invest.

I dont think we can change the mentality of every person here, my friend. It is sad to see indeed that many of our efforts have been in vain trying to expose ponzis but with no luck.
Everyone has their big letter G in their heads that shows they want more money the easy way.

Following this I think you all should gang up for filing a legal complaint.
I hope they have a group where many investors to this Muyan66 collectively file a complaint. I'm not sure if they are going to, though.

Sadly, Filipinos were the majority to fall into this type of scam. They are continuously getting victimized by this just because of the possible greed and want to get "easy money." It's possibly the mindset of everyone, and yes, some people were able to benefit from this, and they are the ones on top of the pyramid or the earliest investors to it.

The idea of being skeptical is better than getting scammed.
I suggest you make a thread in "Scam Accusations" or somewhere where the Noise to Signal ratio is low in this forum because in this section the thread will likely get buried by signature spam very soon. The thread should be in English so that majority of the forum members can understand it. I saw the linked thread in the local forum subsection but it needs to be more than that.

Following this I think you all should gang up for filing a legal complaint.

The question is how it is possible for them to put their money on the garbage ponzi site? I know that and the same thing was also happening when filipinos known about axie infinity can give someone easy money and so many of them were moving to play axie and i guess this is the reason why muyan was successfully fooling all of them. The trend to get easy money may become a trend why they were putting their money into the scam site.
So many crypto users experienced the ponzi site. that's why the ponzi site was targetting the ordinary people

That's sad if there were lives taken by this scam. There's already a thread on our local about this scam and everyone has said that it's a scam.

Although at first I've never heard of such but usually if there are investments like this, it should have been given a warning and notice everyone who's interested on this.
Because of having not that much education towards investing, these scammers are taking advantage of those people that think it will be the one to give them good life without realizing that they're a scam.

One saying is enough for me to remember all this time "don't move against the flow" is not good for me and anyone, whether they are cheated for reasons of ignorance or they are no longer able to assume what they are doing.

The strange thing is, why are all Filipinos being deceived, aren't there many other people who join there, in this case I see that there is some kind of game being played or there is something deliberately created for something to be achieved.

Can you give a little reference to this problem, so that we can discuss each other further, I still can't understand in detail about this incident, I'm afraid I'm conveying it wrong and it will be a big problem for myself .

I don't know anything about the incident? What exactly happened? If there are scammers on the forum who have caused such mayhem, someone like @ICOPRESS would have found them out. Do share what this is about.

The big question is why many Filipinos are being deceived, aren't there many people who join the team, there is some kind of game they are playing so that this incident continues for them Filipinos, indeed we can't prove it by analogy, but if we analyzing this problem then there is a kind of game that was deliberately played, hopefully my guess is not correct and is not a benchmark to find the actual justification, I think it takes a special discussion for this problem, considering that I don't know exactly what the problem is . I hope my assumption is not an opportunity to find fault.
I can get from your post that this is about Filipinos deceiving Filipinos. Crypto presents a huge opportunity to scammers. It is upto those with better conscience to do something to help the newbies and not allow such situations. The OP talks about suicides due to scams. I hope this is not true.

If you guys are from the Filipino community, do share what this is about. Then again, we have some very good members on the forum from the Philippines. I'd expect that something as big as a 187 Bn USD scam would have been talked about already in the forum.

An incident like this wouldn't have happened if the Filipinos weren't hasty in making decisions, it wasn't that a lot of people joined this team, and why are they the only ones who got it. I think we need certainty in this matter if we don't want to share the same vision as them, so we need further analysis of this problem so that we all don't get caught up in the same thing as them, hopefully we can discuss further and find sources from this problem
