Bro I have a 3070ti that's running at 60°C and mem 90°C I'm not even worried because I've done research and I see many saying 95°C is the max safe point for the GPU, you getting 82°C is insane bro, could switch my card for yours if you want hahaha
Well, heat means less ability to overclock. Cooler cards or any pc components I fact means better performance Wink
so nothing to worry about and keep mining Grin
Not RTX 3070ti, they are usually hot out if the box when mining, you need to tweak them to lower their power consumption, the higher the power the card use the hotter they get, it's why I decided to only mine ETH on my 3070ti cos other algorithms like RVN makes the GPU gets hotter

There is nothing to worry about OP even 90°C on memory temp for 3080 and 3090 are extremely safe, I'm even jealous you are getting just 82°C on your 3070ti that's a silicon lottery winner there mate, by the way what algorithm you mining cos all 3070ti are all LHR
I'm mining Ethereum and getting 57MH using NBminer and the power consumption is 167w, I noticed my 3070ti gets hotter if I mine other algorithms most especially that ravencoin, that's where the mem temp spikes up to 90°C, it scares me as I want this GPU to last longer

What are your OC and miner settings for 57 mhs?
Try for hive OS
memory 2500-2600
Core 1570
Power limit 0
lhr_tune 72
GMiner v2.71 Ethash(LHR unlock) https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/gminer-v324-ergokaspazilkawpowequihashcortex-5034735
With these settings, the hash rate is 58 megahash
For a mining farm, additional cooling is desirable, because the consumption of each video card is noticeable at 170-180 watts

The backplate of my 3070ti always gets so hot when I touch it but the temp is around 57°C while the memory temp is around 82°C, should I be worried? I ran from 3080 and 3090 because of this hot 🔥🔥🔥 am I safe ?

It runs really hot indeed, my 3090 are getting 72ºC in the backplate surface temp with an infrared pistol and around 92ºC vram junction temps via HWMonitor, toasty. Shocked
take good care of that beast.

The higher the fan speed, the more noise.

That's the point. Large room fans are relatively quieter because they push more air at lower RPM.
It's what I prefer, YMMV.

Fresh air ventilation can not be installed in all rooms.
Therefore, there are several options for solving this problem.
1. DO NOT buy hot video cards for mining.
2. If you bought them, then use additional cooling.
3. Design the premises before purchasing video cards or other equipment.

I started having heat issue when I have up to 6 graphic cards and a single table fan do the magic perfectly, with the table fan my GPUs temp are under 58°C all the time I think fan does the magic better than anything else

I prefer a large room fan blowing on the open rig. It keeps everything cooler.
Most computer fans are useless for mining rigs, IMO. Good ones are hard to find and loud.

Delta makes very good fans.
The author of the topic has only 1 video card and it is better to use small computer fans to cool it.
You can choose a fan with an average noise level and good performance from 0.4-0.5 A.

If you have the opportunity, then install additional radiators for cooling on the backplate.
Radiators can be attached with hot melt glue.
Or install additional coolers that will remove air between video cards so that one video card is not heated by warm air from another video card.
It's a standalone 3070ti and that's just the only one I got, I don't have any other GPUs running at the back of the 3070ti so the back plate is free from heats coming from another cards, that's for the suggestion though

Then buy additional fans 8x8 or 9x9 and install as done in the photo or as I painted in red.
You will spend no more than $ 15 on this, and the temperature of your video card and its memory will decrease by several degrees.
If you only have 1 graphics card, I would not install additional aluminum radiators.

That's safe temp for 3070, 3070ti ,3080 and 3090, a friend is even running is 3090 at 93°C and it's been months already, I used to be worried for him but as time pass by the GPU still mines 24/7, I've watched dozens of YouTube videos about these high end cards and high temp are safe on them

Well if you want your GPU to last as long as possible, maybe you should not mine with it. That being said, 90 degrees is still okay (especially if you're mining). Even if you're just gaming once in a while you might see that temp. Just take a look at GPU reviews and you can see that RTX30-series are hotter in general, so that temp is not surprising.

I'd rather focus to get ROI as fast as possible so even if your card dies, at least you make a decent profit with it.

That is extremely safe for a 3070 ti as long as your measurements are correct. You can touch the card and you should not feel any special kind of hit with a 57 degree Celsius temperature, also the memory temperature if it is less than 95 degree Celsius it is considered normal for these type of cards. So nothing to worry about and keep mining.

The plate on back is supposed to get hot and dissipate heat to certain extent too. If overall temperature is less than  70C which you said is 57C then nothing to worry about.
