probably you should sell your coin when you lost 10 % or more from your total asset
sell it before too late. cut lose isn't bad way
cut lose is the way to avoid bigger lost at next or future

To be a long term investor, you must be very the patient, because before your very eyes, you would see the coins you are holding plummet, yet you have to be strong and keep your hopes high.
Some people have sold in loss after seeing the downtrend in the market and I believe that, it is until you have sold what you have, before you can assume you have lost.

Compared to the high time of 2017, I lost x3 total investment! But investment always has risks. Consider before deciding!

I think you are still doing well considering. I lost 99.3% of my portfolio wealth in 2018 but one coin saved me and I was able to survive from it, that was and is ARB token, so am in a slow but steady recovery mode. Their token now is really cheap again also, so am trying to accumulate like crazy, in case we get those 100 x returns again. The thing is not to be giving up at a time when things look bad. I am still working hard in the hope that my portfolio will grow again and who knows, we might see even bigger gains in 2020. I do feel 2019 will be slightly better than 2018 and I have a feeling the worst of the bear market of this cycle is behind us. Still, we need to be vigilant and try to grow a varied portfolio which I am trying to do now.

I think you're one of the luckiest people on the market. A lot of people have lost big bucks since the last bull, and most of them still lost more than 50% at best chance.

I'm having a similar experience, I invested about $2400 in crypto for a single cryptocurrency. I thought it was bound to be success and has every right ingredients to be another top 10 currency. But I was wrong, the value of that currency plummeted leading to about $200 in total valuation. But with increase in overall price of crypto, the valuation of that coins have now reached $1000 and I'm not going to sell it unless I get a good amount of profit for the time I hodled my coin.

If you happen that you have bought your assets in the highest amount of the bull run. There is still a good chance that you can recover of what you have loss, though it cannot be call a loss as long as you will not sell yet your asset.

You need to believe and hold you asset until it reaches again to the price that you bought it. As long as you are not needing your money for any purposes then holding it is the best idea and it is best that you should fully believe in crypto as it will surely dominate the future of currencies.

I know how people feel, those who invested in December or January like me, who fell love with crypto, and the way price was going up, never believed I have to see market cap under $250 billion.
I feel bad for you, but you're one of the people who lost their mind during the crazy crypto bull market that ended when bitcoin hit $20,000 but take comfort in the fact that you aren't alone, and that the market does seem to be recovering.  That is an awful lot of money you "lost", but since you still own the coins you might still at least break even.  Some of the coins in the portfolio you listed are crappy but a few might make you a profit if you hold them long enough.

Yeah, market sentiment is turning around. If you hold, I don't think it would be too long before you return to your initial investment, and then start turning a profit again. There's a lot of exciting activity happening in the space atm.
All true.  But I think op bought at the absolute pinnacle of the market, so it might take longer than you think before he recoups his losses.  It is true that crypto sentiment is positive at the moment, but this could change in a heartbeat as you know.  I'm surprised op didn't sell when he saw his portfolio declining so severely.  That's what most investors do.

You're not the only one in this but we just have to hold on. My $10,000 investment has turn to $2500 but am still holding on to it. I believe in this blockchain phenomenon and optimistic sooner or later, we will set a new all time high and tbose that hold up to solid projects coin or token will later smile in the end.

Yes, maybe more than 1 million crypto users suffer the same losses, my crypto assets also drop from $ 12,000 to $ 2800, but this is an important lesson that we should never be greedy when we make a profit.

You can't afford to lose such an amount although the market is steadily growing, all you have to do is to keep on holding. Though the panic statements and speculations will come, never fall for them. Crypto goes down but never dies that is what I believe in.

Believe me, you're not the only one in this. The thing to do is continue to hold and wait. If you are holding good currencies you don't need to worry. The market will return and this investment will be profitable

When I read these lines, I thank God that I managed to sell most of the cryptocurrencies I had in December 2017. It was not the peak of the crypto market, but I even earned a lot. Those who lost must wait for the bulls.

Change Your Worlds Build a New Era!
I am interested in the author of the article has already sold all its cryptocurrency?!) But he said that he believes in cryptocurrency and I think that he still could not make such a decision. It is important to understand that HOLD is a very long process of enrichment in such a market but it is doomed to success. Yeah will have to wait a long time but the benefit will be immense.

That's not bad considering that many coins are or have been over 85% down from their all-time highs. If the next bull market is anything like the previous ones, the $12,000 will turn into a significant amount of money, perhaps even in the six figures. I believe HODLers will be nicely rewarded if they stick this bear market out.

I think your portfolio is good, just carry on holding, as i strongly believe that if you hold your coins then the day is not far away when you would be able to recover your losses, as the market wouldn't go down forever it would definitely recover some time in near future.

Honestly, I don't know some of the coins your holding but since we are slowly moving to the bull run try checking more often if all these coins are really worth keeping and if there are new coins coming to that offer much better profitability you might want to trade to that coin, you don't have to worry as long as you have a good coin you will eventually investment back and make profit in the end.
