Congratulations to you. What you have achieved in this one year is definitely what you deserved. The amount of merit you have already earned is almost as much as the required merit of the legendary rank. I hope you will get that amount of merit very soon. You must be rewarded for what you have contributed to this forum, because when you are rewarded enough for your contribution, you will be interested in doing something better. Many new members give up at first because they can't earn merit, they should follow you and prepare themselves to do something good.

I admire this guy for being an active user here on our forum we have the same phase or just a month ahead of when we start we both a newbie but I saw him already creating a lot of good content threads even still right now this serves as a good quality member and poster I think right here I would like to congratulate yours for reaching enough merits too to reach the Hero member road to legendary member. We are expecting more of your content is one of the best contributors. Cheer up and thumbs up to you!.

I was also on the receiving end of quite a lot of misconceptions I had in my head about Bitcoin, from the thought that Bitcoins were stored in a wallet (to later understanding that it's the blockchain that stores our BTC), to my erroneous view of Bitcoin as a "get rich quick scheme'', and so many other misconceptions, but just like yourself OP, I've come to understand more than what I even actually bargained for, thus I understand the point you're trying to make exactly.

An absolute Congratulations to you OP, what you've been doing in and around the forum is good, and just as is expected, the rewards/benefits of your efforts are there for all to see, well done mate, you can no doubt also do much better I'm sure.

on the forum which I dont recognise and ive been on the forum since 2017, but you
are a familiar member, you are a good asset to the forum and are getting rewarded.

I have been following you from the beginning and I'm really impressed with your progress and achievements.
You are really a very good example and inspiration for all newbie who complain that it is difficult to get merits and progress on the forum.

Thanks for the kind words, there could probably be something attached to quality posts on this forum, but it must primarily be and focus on contributing to the usefulness of this forum in learning, helping one anothers and newbies in bitcoin, crypto related and some other related matters, that is a good point that should not be forgotten but always be in our mind as the point of us to be useful to the community.

Impressive record and contributions mate. I've recognized your ability to discuss and impart some useful topic here on forum and you deserved it. Congratulations, this could be still early but you can learn more in the long run. Don't stop learning and helping newbies cause thats the essence of becoming a user here in forum.

Before I joined Bitcointalk, there were many false information I know about bitcoin, and yet thinking I know better than many, but unknowing it was just the begin of a novice becoming better. At the time, I thought bitcoin transactions were anonymous, thinking also bitcoin needs 10 confirmations, just using the wallet I like, not know if open source or close, custodial or noncustodial. My first wallet was coinbase.com, didn't know anything about private key, not to talk of seed phrase. Using legacy address for transactions, not even knowing segwit, a way to reduce bitcoin transaction by 42%. Thought I knew many until I joined this forum, Bitcointalk. This forum exposed me to reality, started to know not all online are true, seeing online false information like passphrase, a mean of encrypting seed phrase, which is word extension that lead to another seed generate entirely. Not only that, and a lot more.

I join Bitcointalk on March 07, 2020, started learning about the forum and knowing how merit is a fuel that also makes people feel among, not only about joining campaign as I saw ranked members that joined no campaign, but as for me have a mission to fit myself into a good campaign and of which merits and ranking are needed. I have to browsed about merit to know how it works out, and checking recent merited topics, that was where I got my idea from, and researched about bitcoin to construct topics. My first topic was merited, my second was too and started to learning from ranked posters with quality thread posts and getting more merits, knowing more about the forum.

I really appreciate members that do not neglect my account, seeing some of my post useful, it may not be to them, but to Bitcointalk members generally, because I do think one thing, that I started knowing about bitcoin in 2019, what will I know compared to guru that have joined some years back, which means some members do look into post seeing useful to public and merit which may not even be useful to them but useful to the public. Also to all that have seen my post useful and contributed to my ranking up, I also acknowledge you all.




BPIP Metalog
I do check BPIP profile, the metalog award is another thing I like, to be the most merited daily 5 times within this period. I like it also because it is not based on the total merits received but based on the total number of people that merit a particular post which makes it more accurate.




Upcoming members
If others can do it, you can do it
Think of appropriate ways not to be stagnant. If you can not fly, walk. If you can not walk, crawl.
Believe in determination, patience and opportunities
Have passion to know more about bitcoin and this forum generally
Make yourself useful, with this, you will be relevant
Admit to corrections from ranked members
Learn (read) more than posting*, forum threads are so useful
Do not post about what you do not know, do not guess
Try to be better than before
Not forget not to spam not plagiarize
Keep to other rules of Bitcointalk
