If you are still able to open the account then you can educate her 2 kids and try to convince them on using bitcoin or atleast help them get the money from it.If they dont want to use it then help them cashout if they want to use it help them transfer the bitcoin into their account so they can get a hold of whats left
Are you reading the thread?or just the title?

OP is looking for advices and help on what todo since the wallet has the Bitcoin but they cannot open the Nano wallet so that’s the problem to be solved

You know nothing again BTC, but I just curious where did you know that your aunt has bitcoin and you know the exact amount?
What confuses me is he know nothing about bitcoin but he “Help the owner buy the coins”and he knows nothing about bitcoin but He’s account has a lot of post about crypto ..kinda strange lol

Do you having the access to her wallet or no ?
Tell them their mom have a lot of inheritance, sell all the btc and give them the cash
And if you're lucky enough they will give you some of the sell result

this would be a horrible idea.. if OP lives in USA he/she would be responsible for taxes on someone elses money.

if OP knows nothing about bitcoin, how did they help her buy them? it makes no sense.

to the OP. if all you have is the receipt for the purchase of the nano and not the nano itself, or the pass phrase the bitcoins are lost.

you cant just call the company and have them returned to you, bitcoin doesnt work like that.

also anything you do financially should be going through the probate of the estate of the deceased. 13 btc is probably enough where you might have to go through a lawyer.

I am not sure whether this is a genuine post or not. The options will be as follows:

1. In case you know the pin or the recovery seed, then just recover the wallets and transfer the coins
2. If the PIN is not known and you are unable to recover the seed, then you can try certain combinations, such as the year of birth of your sister, or the year of birth of the children. Try the "saved passwords" section in Google Chrome and you may find some clues
3. If none of this is possible, then hire help from professionals. They may ask for anywhere from 10% to 50%.

In case you are considering about #3, then you can contact this guy:

What a strange choice for a username -- Hack4love? Are you sure your aunt's daughter died or are you a new hacker trying to "hack" someone stolen hardware wallet?

What hardware wallet are you dealing with here? Most hardware wallet provides you with a piece of paper, where you can write down the seed, when you configure the wallet for the first time. You need to get that seed to enable you to get to those coins or the password of the hardware wallet that she used to access the device.  Wink

Hope we are helping someone with a legitimate problem and not a hacker that are doing this for his own gain.  Tongue

My aunt's daughter Died and there is 13 btc in hardware wallet  she left 2 kids and we my family know nothing about btc  or this field  i help her to buy this coins. I have  her laptop she use to open the wallet from and we have the bill that we buy Ledger Nano. So what we can do to solve this mess?

What do you need your post is confusing. You should watch some YT for tutorial on how to use it so you wouldn't get confused and wouldn't lose the Bitcoin. You should just know her pin to access the ledger or since you have the bill try finding the paper where she wrote the pass phrase. And please don't do anything stupid like posting it on social media because the wallet could be hacked and you wouldn't use anything from it.

In my guess, this is easier to solve because some information must be there somewhere. They just need some guide on what to look and how to use the information they can find. And yes, watching some YouTube can help. I advise them never to trust anybody outside as we don't know if one can be tempted to do something unfortunate. I am wondering if Ledger Nano has a hotlink or customer support for a matter like this, anyone?

They can only access the funds if:

1. They found your "aunt's daughter"'s recovery seed backup.
2. They know the pin used on the Ledger device.

Beyond that? Probably next to impossible.

if you have the pin, you can still open it, and send the coins.
worst case, as long as you have the recovery seeds, you can recover the wallets.

You post is a little bit confusing due to words missing??

Anyway, if in case you have her Ledger Nano try finding the carton box of the device. Mostly, people tend to leave the recovery sheet there. Or if it's not there. Try finding it in her room or somewhere you think she keeps it.

One problem if you are a holder and you don't trust anyone but yourself.
