Hi,
This is great idea! Sounds like the newest SIMS for the miner Cheesy
BR

Lol thats a good way of thinking of it! For all my supporters I have now created a website for this idea and would love anyone's support.

http://thebitcoingame.webs.com/

Thanks everyone
It's good that you already have something, if you have an alpha version ready, I would be willing to test it.
Really interesting concept!

If VirtualMiner is the same game, I was thinking of, it was or is simply boring.

It's advertized as a game, where you get paid to play, but it never happens. And it's very complex.

I was more thinking, of something in 3D and starts with a BIG launch, like the klondike rush in the days, where everyone runs out and stake a claim.

After that, you buy claims, from other players or explore new ground.

You also start as a newbie miner and "pan" for Bitcoingold. You then buy bigger equipment, with higher yield. {leveling}

You can also trade / borrow / sell items. {If you not into mining yourself}

If a game come out without a "Payment" option, it would be a missed opportunity.

Look at the games out there now, who has this, and you would see, it's massive. {Pay people for their effort, and they will come}

Based on what the OP said, it'll be like an enhanced version of VirtualMiner. I'd love to take part in BETA testing this to help refine it some (which is something I tried to do with VM as well but wasn't listened to).

YES!
I was waiting for this, but I suggest not paying people until you have a stable income using ads or something.
When are you planning on releasing this?

I voted yes for the game and think it's a cool idea... but how does this tie into real earnings? There was a similar site before named VirtualMiner that didn't catch on but that was because the owner never really did anything; the site was set up and left dormant.

I'm curious as to how one earns money through your game though.

Well in my opinion, if you look at the sucess of the TV Series "Gold Rush" it would grow much faster, if you could simulate a "Gold Rush" scenario.

If someone can create a game, like "Sim Farm" where players can mine for "Gold Bitcoins" or "Satoshi's" it would be a instant hit.

There is a need, and I will most deffenitely pay for such a game.

And if the game, pays me for playing, I will spent a whole lot of time on it.

But people need "animation" "GUI" not flat interface, database nonsense.

I enjoy all Simulator type games anyways. {Do you still remember the first "Sim Ant and Sim Farm etc" games?

Good luck, hope you create something stunning.

Not so attractive design for my opinion..
didn't understand against who we will gonna play?

As I mentioned above that I am a terrible artist. I need some help honestly. And you play against others online. You want to have the biggest machine running and the most BTC per second coming in compared to everyone else. Basically like a simulation game of sorts.

Don't get discouraged. This is a great start!

Thank you very much! I just really need someone with an artistic ability to help me out a little bit. Anyone on this forum willing to help would make my day if they did.

Anyone can make some post claiming anything they wish but if its feedback you want (not just "seeing" if this is a good idea or not) then post us some prof of said claim..i guarantee you will get loads more feedback this way

Here is some more pictures

I think the idea is not bad at all, but I cant imagine it. you have to put some pics to demonstrate your idea...

Alright guys I started making an interface (the game was just a console game for a while with a black window with some text and then I made a really crappy interface and now I'm redoing it). Here is a quick picture of what its started to look like after my last hour of trying to make a somewhat pretty interface for the game. Tell me what you think. Go ahead and ask questions if needed.

If you look here at the picture you can see the different miners you can buy (as of right now, more will be added soon). Also by hovering over one of them you get a little detail box shown below.

Sounds interesting.

Post some pictures of your development or something, so people can believe its true.

I will post pictures now that I know this game is wanted! and yes I will have educational value behind it and yes I do plan on perhaps having some cash reward behind the game. The only issue with me posting a picture right now is that my artwork is so bad that the game looks awful even though the gameplay is perfect. If anyone wants to help with artwork I will be very much pleased!
