The idea of using M.2 is good. but still lets see how it gonna work in the end. Ill for sure see your youtube video and subscribe it gonna help lot of members to add 1-2 more GPUs using M.2 slots.

Its going to be 1 gpu on board and 7 on risers ... so i think i am good at 1300w
there is no different if the gpus are on risers or onboard , still going to use the same power

Not only he would not be able to power the cards, but most 1300w PSU do not have enough cabling to do so

you not going to build a 8gpu rig with that configuration
btw , you also going to need a motherboard
and 1300watts psu not going to be ok for a 8 gpu build without proper bios mods , fine tune , undervolting
you should get 1600 watts psu
