... and each time he did, I really feel bad and thought he never wanted to help me.

Well, unfortunately, im a kind of friend who will do the same, the difference is, i will send some video instead of pure boring articles. But hey, that's how most of us had started, so congrats, for your first, second step, and...

Now, now, let's all share and feel the same when bitcoin go up again, and dump afterwards. Lol.

If you mind, maybe the next thing you need to ask or to know is how people keep staying in this space knowing the struggles, blood and tears after bitcoin dumps from almost $70k to $18k in just a year. lmao.

Hi Obari! Congrats! I think it was a good start, every journey starts from somewhere. Now is the right time as bitcoin prices are sliding gradually and many think a dip has come for bitcoin. Whether you want a casual investment or one that could potentially turn into a small fortune, this may be your chance to secure a good investment. It may not continue to appreciate as fast as it has been, but for now, it's the most secure and stable option around. Hope you make it big on crypto journey.

It's been nothing but JOY through out yesterday for me, as I was able to officially buy my first Bitcoin for HODL. I have been really interested in cryptocurrency lately but had no single clue of how it really works.
I understand how we feel when we first buy Bitcoin, this is really fun and makes us encouraged to buy it again next time. This is a very good step. As long as we buy Bitcoin with money that is not for our needs, which we can afford to lose, we will be calmer in investing in Bitcoin. Especially at this time still in the bearish market. So you should still be more patient for a few years maybe to find the price you want. Especially for bullish markets. There will be many FUDs later, so you have to remain patient and strong with various conditions to remain to hold.

I don't know! Actually, it shouldn't be the "Everest" as they want to make it look, we must spread the idea of easy access to having satoshi or bitcoin whatever, learning is easy, it is a myth to think that it is complicated to have bitcoin etc. what is not a myth are the basic security guidelines that you must follow.

Basic Security Guidelines, it  That should make you happy to know and understand, by the way, be careful with that friends who ask for links, data, etc. Read everything you can aboutb it safety that isn't rocket science either.

Congratulations...!

Congratulation friend ,
I just says that you join this field at golden time believe me you buy Bitcoin at 60% discounted price and i  think come in my mind a person says " Market dips help flush out weak hands. Its not Crash ,its a sale"
So fried many weak hands are washed out from market and you avail the sale But i just says you need to regularly make investment in this dump time i say buy with 20% of your salary 10% at which you are more comfortable and buy at lower levels that you previously buy to averagely lower your buying price.

I like the fact that you did your research before making the purchase because that is the part most of us are failing at when we venture into bitcoin without making research about what you investing I love this bold step op. Additionally, you can keep adding to the one you already have so that you can make more profits when the time is right, and another most important keep your keys very safe.

It's been nothing but JOY through out yesterday for me, as I was able to officially buy my first Bitcoin for HODL. I have been really interested in cryptocurrency lately but had no single clue of how it really works.
I then met with a friend, not just friend but a very long time friend, who have been thriving in the crypto space for guidance, and he kept giving me series of web links to go study and get back to him when done.
This is one thing I'm not really good at, which is reading for long and even writing.
I tried twice but couldn't and kept going back to him to just summarize everything and show me how to start making a living out of Bitcoin just as he was doing, but he kept referring me back to the links he sent and each time he did, I really feel bad and thought he never wanted to help me.

Two months back I took the challenge and read all he gave to me and not just once but about thrice this time, got all I needed and went back to him, but on a different note and then he told me, "WE DON'T CUT CORNERS, TO MAKING A LIVING GENUINELY." I felt that really hard and one thing he always kept singing was that I always buy Bitcoin at every opportunity that I have and today I'm so glad to announce that I was able to buy about $60 worth of Bitcoin, glad the journey of a thousand mile has began on the 28 of October 2022, And I hope it leads to greater opportunity in the industry, as I'm willing to learn ways.

Please join me celebrate my little beginning as I hope to update the community about my progress.

Congratulations on your very first purchase of Bitcoin! Remember not to make the mistake of selling out of panic, as you will definitely feel a bit scared whenever we have gigantic dips or pumps in price. And do not trade too often (if you are considering day-trading), as those trading fees can grind away all your money before you notice it. Those two things (emotional trading and trading too often) are really the biggest traps to watch out for.

If you ever need help or information feel free to post in the correct segment on this forum and we will try to help you out as much as we can!

Other than that, have fun and welcome to the world of Bitcoin! Grin

Congratulations OP! I myself still didn't experience purchasing Bitcoin for myself since most of crypto came from bounty campaign, signature campaign and my freelance work that rewards me in Bitcoin. I didn’t have the chance to buy Bitcoin using my personal money until because I save a lot during the price is very low.

The only time I remember purchasing crypto is through P2P when I need a gas for my wallet but the money I used came from my crypto profit which means this still not count as my first purchase for me.

It is still not too late to start investing in bitcoin. I believe you made it in time for future profits that must come in the following years. Bitcoin is cheap right now and the more you are able to acquire and hold, the better for yourself once the market's tendency is reverted. I hope you can inspire many others through your story to make their first bitcoin purchases as well, so bitcoin community can become larger and bitcoin can become widely spread among more investors' hands, truly decentralizing the supply of coins.

Congratulations mate I must tell you that you have done a great thing for yourself. I think this is how to grow. Many newbies don't believe in gradual rise when it comes to crypto-currency. I also had same euphoria when I had to make my Frist Bitcoin purchase, I wasn't really excited because I just bought Bitcoin as an investor but because I believe it's going to be part of my future.

If it's possible mate I recommend you keep accumulating or progressing in your Bitcoin usage the benefits can be earned now and that's easy transactions and other freedoms. Congratulations once again.

Congratulations on finally being able to buy what you want.
Because of your post I remember how proud and excited I was when I first purchase crypto for investment.
It brings back all the fun memories that I had when I was just starting in crypto I invested on most of the investment scheme back then and learned the hard way.

The feeling is always great having to purchase your first bct, mine happened years back when lots of people were still getting to know btc. Bought some btc with my pocket money, to be honest, I didn't understand it if not would have sold everything I have to buy as much as I could. This is one money well spent, in a few years you will look back to this day and have a big smile on your face. congrats bro.

Congratulations Obari, this bold step is worth celebrating. I don't know your location but in my country $60 is a huge sum. You deserve all the commendation because due to the economic downturn in most countries people are more concerned about how to provide their basic needs and just survive because most countries are going through hyperinflation. But for you to have an investment mentality to set out this sum to keep for the future shows that you are uncommon.

I also hope that you would have the patience and courage to Hodl this asset for a very long time until you get your profit. I would also advice that you keep investing in bitcoin and don't be distracted by the enticing benefits of shitcoins or the smear campaigns of anti-bitcoin forces.

Congratulations for finally buying your first Bitcoin! And it is also worth noting and perhaps worthy of another congratulations that you intend to HODL it. When I made my first Bitcoin purchase, it's a shame that it was done for the sake of having its price grow a little, for selling afterward.

Buy and sell was a bit more popular than HODLing back then, at least among my little group of Bitcoin friends. It was only later on that many of us stayed away from trading and mainly focused on HODLing.

Anyway, I'm curious. What are you particularly referring to when you mentioned "making a living out of Bitcoin?"

Congratulations bud, every one of us here started out just like you did, though not all of us had the opportunity of having a genuine friend like` yours to point us to the right direction, i personally had no body to teach me when i started out in crypto, and this lead me to being a victim to some series of scam, but then, i always thank God i did not give up, i learnt from all my mistakes and it has shaped my life and knowledge of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.

My advice to you is to develop the habit of reading, it is very important if you must make impact financially in this space, dont wait for anybody to baby sit you cus no body in this space have such time, and i personally commend your friend for not trying to baby sit you, by referring you back to the articles he asked you to read each time you ask for his guidance, he actually was teaching you that if you must do well in crypto, then you must develop the habit of reading and understanding.

Congratulation on your first BTC purchase.  I hope you will have the patience to go through the ups and downs of Bitcoin and eventually be able to realize your target price for profit.  I believe this won't be the last time you will buy one, at the current condition of the market, Bitcoin is selling at a huge discount so I would suggest accumulating more especially if you have extra funds to spend.  Also take notice of mk4 's suggestion for it will help a lot in securing your Bitcoin holdings

Congratulations Man or your first purchase. I can see the Joy you have and in sharing your first experience. I know there are many of your type out there doing the same for the first time in their life. The experience is always fresh in the memory as it was the first time you ever did such a thing. I remember my first time of Bitcoin purchase that was years back. I initially was afraid so as not to fall victim or prey to scammers. I waited and waited sourcing for genuine site for purchase of Bitcoin until a friend whom I met long ago who was into Bitcoin and I had no idea. I told him about my discovery of Bitcoin and I am interested in it and I want to buy it he smiled at me and told me more about it there I realized he has been onboard the system for a long time. I trusted him so I gave him the money to purchase it which he did and transferred to my own private wallet. As at then I was so excited because it was my first time of purchasing Bitcoin as an enthusiast in the blockchain. I so much cherish that moment as it is still fresh in my memory. Currently now, anyone buying Bitcoin should be lucky and should find him or herself in a better position as the price is still down for a good purchase.

Congrats, OP.
You know that everyone gotta start somewhere. You made me recall back in the days when I was still scared to get my first Bitcoin due to how volatile the price is. Regardless I still bit rhe bullet and then boom I just found myself trading afterwards.

All the best to you, Op!
