Welcome buddy! Lucky that you have already read all the rules because that is the most important thing to do as a beginner before start posting. Just try your best to share something positive and you will be appreciated, also respect all members despite their ranks (not all members are here for ranks) so respect everyone and you will be respected.

Post my first reply under your first article. I have the same problem. I hope to contribute to the forum while I can learn something. Then I saw this post in the beginners area.

I learned to relax and learn.

Just take it easy and do not rush things. The problem with most newbies is that they are too focused on ranking-up in which their post quality suffers during the process. They try so hard into creating threads with only minimal results. Just enjoy and take your time in the forum in learning new things. Read threads about cryptocurrencies and it is not mandatory to reply to every thread that you visited.

Remember, this forum was created in order to be an instructive learning tool to everyone who wishes to learn more about BTCs.

It is great that you read the rules and that you made your first post; that is the first step.

Here are my few tips that will be of great help to you.

1. Plagiarism is a big offense but here, so in other to stay so safe here try not to plagiarized other people's content (copying and pasting from other websites to this forum).

2. Hate speech is not tolerated on this forum, so in other to stay safe here, always try to respect everyone on the forum.

3. Multiple accounts opening is not tolerated here, as it gives room to spam contents and hereby forgetting the sole aim of the forum and thereby going after bounties.

So in conclusion, be just try to observe all the rules of the forum, and I wish you the best..

You are welcome to Bitcointalk forum just concentrate to learn and follow all the rules and you won't have any issues
It's obvious that what contributes not to violates the bitcointalk community terms and conditions is because of help of it's regulations as you stated @Masplanc. Anyone who wants to get out of violation of protocols have to read the law of the forum, many people has fall apart due to not understanding the concept of the forum in time and also ignoring to acquire a higher knowledge from initial or old users.

I can see from you post that you are a local board kind of person, I also support my local board because I believe in adopting of Bitcoin and crypto-currency begins with adoption of our local board, but I think you are over doing it, most of your post are on the local board, off topics too, so for you to be knowledgeable you have to be posting also on the other boards apart from the Local board and you can be knowledgeable to develop your local board.

Probably your journey in the forum started with you actually registering an account but how well you would do and go always starts with you taking the first step which is, getting in the discussion. Its very important you do and frankly, I'm a bit disappointed so far as, your yet to be active on the forum as per discussion wise @OP.

You shouldn't just make a first post and disappear, it's one way for a slow progress. Slow is good progress but then, faster could be better too. Interact, discuss, provide vital updates. Don't end in announcing yourself and we start looking out for you @OP, its the worst way to go or perhaps, you don't have a focus here and the informations your able to grab would be useful some else then, its a welcomed development else, you really should be getting in the discussion

realwhitewhidow, I'm sorry you lost access to your old account but if you don't have a staked btc address here, it's hard to prove ownership after such a long time.
How come you stopped using your account once you reclaimed it and changed the password? According to the bpip.org website, that was almost four years ago.

This is the first time I've seen a beginner or newbie take to this line for a new post or fia way to behave before any actual participation on discussions in the forum. It's a good one for sure but mind you, are you really sure you've gone through all the rules? As this is what would be used to prosecute you should you fault any rule. Ignorance hence forth is a no excuse for you. Be guided and be sure to follow the rules as you have them.

The forum isn't a difficult place and being you is all that the forum requires. Bitcointalk is a forum that treasures originality so, be original and creative. Best of luck!

.
Then I figure there’s not much to go by to try to recover your account. I figure that during your prior conversations on the matter, they asked you whether you were in control of any BTC address you may have mentioned of the forum. If you could sign a message from one of such addresses, you’d have a shot. On post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9870783 you mention an address where someone was to deposit BTC for placing an Ad for example.
[/quote]

They didnt even ask me that,   but unfortunately i dont actually have access to that btc wallet anymore,   as i stopped using it when i stopped that project ..

But the worse part is,    i knew this forum account was compromised at some point,   and actually remedied it,   reset the pass, (and the compromised email etc) to secured the account . (which is also when i edited the signature on the old account)

so in my understanding,   the account was no longer compromised at all,  which is why i dont understand the deactivation in the first place, especially since it didnt happen when it actually WAS compromised,   but then gets blocked AFTER i get control again ...

And while i dont have access to the wallet anymore ....   i do still use the same email adress, using the same domain,   which has the same whoisdata registered to myself (i can send my id, etc), since before i ever even created the account.

In short, i was never asked for any info, the btc wallet would have been an issue (honestly i MIGHT be able to find the keys SOMEWHERE but i doubt it), i am however willing to show any other info which might be usefull at all ...    such as proof of ownership of the email, prior to creating the account.

But i think im pretty much scr*wed at ths point. (noone else to blame other then myself ofcourse,   but still,   it s**ks big time)

Accounts are not deleted (other than some being turned to Guest, but I believe that was an exceptional practice for very specific reasons). If you are refering to this account, then I don’t see that account as banned.

Take a look at the recovery procedure to see if you can use it to regain control of your account, providing you can provide the required evidence.

that is indeed the one,   i inquired about the recovery , as trying to reset my pass resulted in a message saying i should email them,  so i did,   but they said :
"Since the account has no history that could help us with the recovery process, we have decided that it will remain locked. If you want to continue using our platform, our suggestion is to create a new account"

which is kind of a bummer,    as i came here to try and get feedback on a project i've been working on,   but ofcourse my posting now just comes across as very 'spammy' :/

You are welcome and firstly this is a nice and cool forum.
This is a forum where you get experience and have a knowledge about cryptocurrency, you can also try to meet the term and conditions of the forum don't comment to a post that's isn't related to post you see. And on this forum everything isn't about money but to learn and have knowledge of cryptocurrencies and many challenges in life.

If you said you read "all the rules guiding the forum and spent days getting myself familiar with how things work here...", and you truly did read them, then I think you should be ok knowing already how things work here; what is frowned at and what is liked. You're likely not going to need any other suggestions. Most of those who will be advising you here may not have even read the said rules you said you've read. Beyond all the pieces of advice you get here, I want you to stick to the pinned rules of the forum. At least, those ones are formal and official and are not getting deleted. Again, whatever you do steer clear off plagiarism.

Besides following the forum rules, which others have already mentioned, I think it is equally important to follow good online etiquette practice in order to maintain a good online reputation. As our community has grown, a lot of people forget that being active in this kind of community comes with the responsibility to be a good member. I think the best things we can do to protect our online reputation is to not only follow the forum rules and guidelines, but to also be kind, courteous, honest, and respectful to other members.

You just say what you want to express or to say. You also have to follow the rules to avoid getting banned. The forum rules that will get you banned fast is plagiarism. I'm sure you know what plagiarism is so avoid doing that. Focus on things that you are interested in. Learn other things like how to post quality topics. Each forum users have their own definitions of high quality post. Welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay.

Just act like what other's did and here or you can visit different boards if you want to know more. There are different boards here that might pick your interest so keep on exploring and reading different stuff around here. Plus the search button is always available if you have something that you want to know. But of course, Google is your first pick of searching.

And of course, you should follow those rules because some of those rules will get you ban in an instant. If you are just exploring then probably you could ask some questions if you are interested to their topic. Although, reading is enough already to me since they all shared their knowledge and experience about the topic so it's quite easy to understand.

Congratulations on joining the forum, this set of -newbies- are something else they have always read the rules, and promising to follow the rules, but if you were curious enough to find the thread of the rules, I think you should be curious to check the surrounding pin thread, above and below the rules, if you do any further questions would just be if you want to, when I came into the forum, it may have taken me time to read all thread -I really can't remember- I needed to but when I did, I think every -Newbies- who did should understand the thread and know about the forum, nevertheless knowledge can come in those reply you would read here, congratulations again.

At first i welcomed you to the forum, but it's easier to found the community of bitcointalk and register, but can you be able to carry on the primary function's, because many people has come and also gone due to violation of the rules and regulations, so you have to read up  some elements of the community guidelines here, Newbies - Read before posting. That topic gives helpful advice before you make posts or create topics.
Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ

And secondly if your major concern is to earn bitcoin or money to the community, it's obvious that you will backslide, because such mindset has made some people hookout from the system, just make out time to learn the methods of posting and methods to respond to comments,

So you have things to acknowledge first or learn as a beginner, such as the following.
* Read and cross check your work before posting
* Observation, observe the system of the any board before posting
* Post for a board or any reply or topic you understand the tense
* Research before posting
* And also add a source if copied articles on line.

As long as you have read the rules for days in this forum, what have you understood and learned.

I mean this, tell us about something you've learned Forum 'rules', so at least we can find out what you've learned and we only tell you the rules you don't know, so if you understand everything, you just have to obey and live it.

being a responsible member, it depends on what you have and can be useful for other members, I mean ideas, knowledge, suggestions, whether it's about Bitcoin etc, especially Bitcointalk and Bitcoin and also other crypto related stuff.

your advice and opinions on how to be a responsible member of bitcointalk are all am seeking.
Since you read the rules Im sure you pretty know what you need to do mate. Just be yourself when posting and always create topic that can contribute to the forum.
There are plenty of newbies here whom always post long narratives and some non sense post. Piece of advise, be short and concise when building up a post, always direct to the point and make sure everyone understand the way you explain something.

Goodluck merits will come un noticed.

Welcome to Bitcointalk forum, OP. Smiley
Advices and opinions? Just chill and enjoy having a relaxing conversation in threads. You'll just be fine if you act like you, as what jackg mentioned above me.
Just don't do what's frowned upon by the community.

Just act normal while being here and posting here.

If you're not after anything like ranks then you'll do fine just by posting and engaging with discussion. Also try to make use of search functions here and on search engines if you can before asking questions but if you can't find the answer there quickly, then open a topic.
