About to put together a single 7970 rig for my first mining experiment. I got a msi z77a-g43 board with 4 pcie slots, 4gb ram, i3 processor, 850 watt psu. Plan on adding the other 3 GPUs soon. Any tips or suggestions? I plan on mining LTC to start.
You don't really need an i3 to get the mining going. Just get the cheapest you can find will do.I would recommend that you look for a 1200W PSU instead since you were planning to mine on 4 GPUs.
