Maybe Bitcoin fits better for online stores, not physical ones, but I support such initiatives. It's difficult to expect that significant part of users will pay in Bitcoin, but I'm sure that you'll find people who will appreciate that you give such option.
But I always had question about physical stores and Bitcoin. What they are doing when it takes hours to confirm transaction?

There are several stores in germany that offer this kind of service for their customers. They sell thousands of units of one product so they can afford just refunding to certain customers. A few weeks ago, we bought an iron (the thing you straighten your clothes with) and we specifically asked at the store (ALDI, to be specific) if we could return it if we didn't like it and we were told that we had 30 days to return it without any problems Cheesy

I have no experience using the lightning network but as far as I understand, transactions are super quick (only a few seconds) and OP could confirm the transaction while the customer is still in the store .

In terms of what you're lacking, it appears that you have a basic setup, which is OK...

People who pay in BTC get a little discount on the site I helped set up; this was a no-brainer because other payment alternatives have a large charge and run the risk of clients cheating the owner by requesting a refund... In a physical shop, you also risk consumers double-spending (by paying you, then leaving before their transaction is verified, and then creating a new transaction using the same unspent outputs as an input... I guess you could think of those individuals as techy shoplifters, which you presumably already have to deal with.)

Though that's not necessary and if you think that's a good idea then go ahead. Any third-party app/services that you have use for this?
Think about using Lightning Network too, this is good for the microtransactions that possible you have to save from the possible high fee but as of now, the network isn't congested yet.

You helped to spread awareness about Bitcoin acceptance as an alternative to cash, this is not about the ads it also brings people to have an interest in Bitcoin investment.

If you have registered in an online store, you need to have a Bitcoin payment gateway.

You have 3 possible options:

It’s your decision, but because of you and the customer’s privacy maybe the details of the transaction shouldn’t be public. Although you can show a paper bill on which you will blur details that you do not want to be shown publicly.

Curiosity would always be there and these kind of steps or movement is really helping out to spread the awareness of bitcoin existence which is really giving out that positive effect because adoption could increase more
if there would be more merchants would consider on accepting or integrating bitcoin as a payment.

I think this is a win-win situation for OP & Bitcoin ad well. OP keeping role in Bitcoin adaption, and Bitcoin helping free marketing. When Bitcoin users will notice your shop they will encourage to buy something from you with Bitcoin even they don't need much. It's a kind of curiosity. I would do the same at least for the real experience of using Bitcoin directly in real life. So I believe OP will get a few new customers just for accepting Bitcoin. Even it would help others to introduce Bitcoin to those who aren't familiar with it. You have done a Good job OP, keep it up.

I like OP’s advice and that i also believe that its acceptance of bitcoin will make its payment system much faster and every one merchants are going to be ready to transact in their stores through bitcoin it's not a matter of curiosity because the demand for bitcoin will increase. Easy to dig and shopkeepers are accepting bitcoin as money rather than fiat because the days pass, cryptocurrency begins to return into the mainstream many companies round the world are using cryptocurrency as a way of monetary transactions. I've always believed that the strongest catalyst for Bitcoin adoption as a currency is for small and medium businesses like yours to start accepting it as payment. There've always been talks that Bitcoin is money, that Bitcoin is designed to be spent, more than anything else. However, how could it be done when not a single store in one's locality is accepting it? Now, you're actually making it happen!

I'm curious, though. Did you already have customers who paid in Bitcoin? Is Bitcoin acceptable in your country? Or do you still register everything in fiat in your books?

I have a different business policy. We issue a one year warranty for gadgets. If there is a technical problem with your new device within the one year duration, the company fixes the device for you free of charge or replaces the device if need be. You have to prove the problem with the device was not caused by you. There is a strict no refund policy.
