Pow coins are all right, they have millions of times better chance to live than tokens, i would not keep any of them, too dangerous, newcomers dont know what a bear market is, they have no idea, bear market is 99.9% discount or more, mining is negative profit and everything you see is death and misery, top gpus sold for 2k being sold for 200 usd and 1k gpus being sold for 100 usd, that is how it goes, we are still in a bull market, prices are still very very high to where coins will crash to. The best advice I've read today so far, I mined so many new PoW coins in 2017 and only 5 of them survived by with value way down compare to then, I'm very sure you guys will remember few of these coins

I'm not holding any old crypto project for the future, I remember when Avalanche and Polkadot came into crypto space I knew instantly how big they would get, Imagine buying these coins in 2020 at their value back then you would have made insane amount of profits in 2021, this is the way find good projects and hold before they surge

1. Shiba already did it's best it will be harder to surge alot in few years later
2. I'd prefer investing in IEO and IDO right now than buying these coins for 2025 you can never tell what the situation will be at the time
3. Today's hyped use cases won't matter in 2025 because whales and big investors will look for something new to make the best money from not same old use cases.

The only thing that Dogecoin and Shiba coin right now are good for is shorting every single spike that they get. Whenever Elon musk says anything about Doge it pumped like 25%, usually one pump followed by another and then it starts to fade and go down.

Just pull up any doge chart and have a look. Every single time that he tweet doge, it ends up going back down to where it was. Too many people still believe it will go to $1.

you not mining there shiba, you are mining depends on your gpu eth or etc or another coin and they swap your mined coins to shiba, you loose much more this way because they take fee from you. it is better mine coin then swap to shiba if you want.

I can't predict the prices or the longevity of these coins, 3 years from now looks a lot with cryptos

A good way to help you increase your chances is to look at 2017-2018, compare and study the projects and prices
There were tons of promising coins that are a failure now, and some coins are holding well enough

You can list them with risk reward and balance your portfolio according to that, and you'll need to adjust from time to time

Just my 2 cents, and not a advice, but if I need to choose only mineable coins to hold until 2025:

BTC + ETH + XMR + RVN
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero and Ravencoin

You have a point. Doge is still around because they were smart enough to invest in the meme industry. But what makes you think shiba inu will have the same success as doge? What new tech shiba brought to the meme industry? Doge has the backing of memelord Elon, 4chan and the various other meme groups. What does shinaibu have? I think shiba won't have the same success as doge.
