I bought new laptop lately and now it can't find my phone, so I can't jailbreak it or even connect it to iTunes.
Are you running the latest itunes.
Have you searched google, what have you tried to let it discover your phone?
Have you rebopted it while it's plugin in.
Have you searched google?
Have you searched google??
Have you searched google???

Is there a jailbreak for your OS version?

I never needed apple care and I've fixed many of "bricked" OS devices, not sure if you have to pay for it but if you do, I would stay away!

Everything you need is on google, also search on youtube.

Lol, there is under 1 page of posts and nobody bothers to read them...  Huh
It is fixed already.
And I think I don't have apple care plan.

Aah, didn't see that sorry. But you should go with apple care next time. Good luck.

What this apple care will do?

https://www.apple.com/support/products/iphone.html

My phone is over 2 years old so that wouldn't have helped anyway.
And it costs 79$?

yea, it costs that much. You didn't say which one you have. Lock the thread if your problem is solved.  Smiley

I have an HTC, you should get one.

Didn't you take apple care plan with it. Go to the apple store and show them, see what they say.

Worked, thanks.
I didn't even know this reset thing, and I have tried to find it before.

Glad it worked. I had a similar problem on my iPad and this fixed it. I didn't know this reset feature either before that happened. Don't you just wish these modern electronics comes with a nice old fashioned manual like it used to?  Embarrassed

They do usually! Just everyone throws them away!!

Nah, I never read manuals anyway, they are too long Grin
But it should be easier to find, I mean, I couldn't even find it with google...
Maybe online manual would be good, you could use search so no need to read whole manual.

You could reset it by holding power and home button for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo reappears. This will not wipe the data inside, just reboot the phone. See if this works, if it doesn't, it's a hardware problem. Good luck.
