Bitcoin amateur learning by doing
I would recomend:

- Stop trading for some days - analyse the market. (the more money you have in that game the more time it will take to study, analyse, compare....)
- Read some articles/books about money- and risk management. This helps you to avoid those big losses. There are several strategies, which can help you.
- Do some technical analysis (already the basics like "Trendline" and "Fibonacci Retracements" can help you a lot
- Do some deeper technical analysis (f.e. "Richard Wyckoff method" works very well in crypto to find "cheep" coins)
- If you found something worth to trade, check fundamentals by reeding topics of the coins here.
- Join the slack groups (you find them in the topics - ask your questions to the development team)
- Go to YouTube: watch crypto currency videos - learn about the market - feel the market
- Trust nobody here in this forum (also not me - do your own analysis!!!)

And after you have done this:
- Find out how to store you coins safe (f.e. Hardware wallets, protect your computer, ...)
- Learn more about market/technical analysis
- Read some books about trading / pennystock trading
- Watch more youtube videos
- Watch more topics in the forum

Unless you can prove you have that much bitcoin, you're full of shit.  It's possible but it seems like only noobs come to this forum telling tales like this and I don't buy it.  Plus if you lost money in the biggest crypto bull market we've ever seen,  you're a complete retard who needs to have someone else manage his money.  Capisce?  And your English sucks.  You should stick to the local boards.

Isn't this the truth?

Ethereum didn't fall really much, specially relating to Bitcoin, and 1 BTC = 1 BTC forever.

Please tell us you did you managed to lose 20 BTC

I need your help for investment. I`m a newbie for the cryptocurrency.
I lost many eths on last week when big pricing down day. Maybe I lost 20btc.
First, I bought 110 BTC but I have just 90 BTC now.

I have below

1. 45 BTC
2. 320 ETH
But I think I can`t recover my loss 20 BTC because ETH also now have down flow.
So I need to invest another altcoin with my 45 BTC.
I am not going to ask for any proof, but it is really strange to hear your loss in a bull market, just clarify the time line in which your purchased the coins and at what price you entered those.I am pretty sure you might not enter bitcoin when it touched $3000 and accumulated 110 bitcoin and if you are capable of purchasing that much of coins at that price then you could have assigned an adviser when doing these kind of deals,so the totality is,this thread is bullshit.

Did you really take that much risk? If so, you should try investing in some safe icos. If I were you, I'd invest in Tezos. If you try to gain your loss back in very short time, it will only cause another huge loss.

How have you lost 20BTC in ethereum dump/pump phase, the exchange rate of ETH/BTC is similar to "all time high" (ATH)
If you need to make more money then you should split your investment in ICOs and in few coins like litecoin, stellar etc.

you should just stick to investing on ICO using your ETH if you want the safest path.

STR is just full of shit but its cheap, i don't think it will be pumped anytime soon if you buy STR with your 45BTC, all those holders will be really be dumping after the spike you can do. they'd take profit without saying thanks.

oh wow OP 20 btc is really a huge loss if you are just starting from this trading investment better to calm down and hold  your money for a while, its hard to recover your loses if you don't have enough knowledge regarding to this certain fluctuations, in order to survive here you also needed to invest with your time, researching and understanding where to place your investment would work for long term mate. just be patient and look for more edge before investing your money.

Well, sorry for that. Hope you can recover your 20 BTC asap.
Try to look on https://coinmarketcap.com , there a lot coin with growing information about that.

I will advice Ripple or ETH , but LTC its going crazy yesterday. Depend on your choice. Or you can try DNotes, that good coin too but need some time too take profit.

Really come to think of it,  considering how difficult it is to flip amounts that big (selling 20 BTC worth of a coin will lower demand and thus decrease prices)... I really think ICOs are your best bet at the moment.

Dump a few BTC in the ICOs I mentioned, perhaps not DCorp. And Tezos for the longer haul.
You'll get your money back! You'll have to be there when the ICO timer hits 0 though!!

How can you trust this? I can't be pumping something that doesn't exist yet. Better yet, you might be the one pushing me out of the ICO with my measly little contribution.

Wow dude. So much money riding on something you are only just learning!

The tips I can give you are:
- Pump some iron in those hands of yours, buying high and selling low will bankrupt you. With a few more days you might get your ROI or more!
- If you want to play safer play a longer game, not riding the daily Waves.
- Understand most coins are connected to BTC or Ether, those go up, your altcoins go up and vice versa.
- ICOs are the new hot item at the moment, and some sell out in a few moments. Being one of the buyers might put you in the position to sell for much more on the market
- Beware though, many ICOs are absolute scams
- Both for ICOs and and altcoins, do your research.
- For playing the daily games, it's all about sentiment. Many dead coins, scam coins, shit coins, rise and rise and rise because of cheap pump&dumps - extorting money from newbies who are soon bag holders of useless tokens. You can however ride the wave up (and get out in time!!).

Some people analyse the charts, knowing nothing about the coin, but do make huge profits.
Some analyse the coin and foresee growth potential (but this is the long game, esepcially now since all coins are pretty pumped).

Some ICOs you might flip for a quick and big profit: Status, TenX, OmiSego (all had presales too, which you could've entered with your amount of BTC!) and perhaps even, but to a lesser extent, Dcorp. Tezos is mighty interesting, but uncapped. For the longer hold it could be worthwhile though.

Should you make big bucks with these ICOs, I sure as hell wouldn't mind a small contribution. Even though I am faring well in the current cryptobubble, I didn't have much to stake.

BTC and ETH is a good investment but you will gain more profit if hold for long term investment. Don't spend your BTC in one coin seperate to 5-10 coin but you should make reasearch too what coin that will give you profit. STR I don't have a clue if you want gain profit in short term but for long term yes, I still hold my STR.

Bisq is a Bitcoin Fiat Dex. Use responsibly
Wow you're risking way too much bro. You should research this things before committing this much... no need to rush at all.  I knew about trading Altcoin since last year but really did lots of reading on this forum and tradingView before finally trading.
Try join Tradingview it will help you greatly. If you find any Altcoin that interest you, you should go search for it on Tradingview and go through it

If you still have your fund in Ethereum, I suggest you let it be and come a month or two, it will most likely increase in value.

If you are on Twitter you should ask this guy
https://mobile.twitter.com/nodeinvestor?lang=en for advice before investing on any Altcoin.  But still do more research before finally investing

To cover your 20BTC loss, you should invest your bitcoins in a low-priced alternative coin with potential to increase in the future, investing now in BTC or ETH for short term ROI is useless – they are highly priced to make such significant profits.
My recommendations to you are:

1. Don't put all your eggs in one basket – don't invest all your bitcoins in one altcoin only, just spread them so you can cover losses.
2. Do your research about what coin to invest in, don't take others' words for certain – they might try to pump coins which they hold. Following Twitter accounts about crypto trading could provide a benefit for you.
3. Don't invest that big amount in crypto currencies – this is a bullish market, and it is very volatile.
4. Seek good entry points when you buy, and sell your coins when there is a profit. Don't sell your coins when they dump, you better hold on to them, especially if these coins are BTC or ETH (have a certain potential to grow in the future).

If you want good coins to invest in (to cover your huge loss), choose coins in 1000sub Satoshis, something like XBY or SC – any simple pump will earn you decent profits.

Take a deep breat and start with 1 BTC and practice. If you want give me 5BTC I'll coach you 30 days you will not loose 20BTC but make 100% at the end of the month (but smaller amount smaller risk). Why gamble so much so fast?
Don't listen to this knucklehead, for example.
