Yours is a success story because you take the risk, ignored those who mocked you, and decided that Bitcoin is worth investing your money in, there's a lot of resistance and FUD and the complication attached to using Bitcoin are just some of the reasons, we cannot blame these people, much more if these are our relatives, we can still encourage them to invest and adopt Bitcoin.

I also have the same stories as yours from friends and relatives who ignore me when I tried to encourage them to invest in Bitcoin and I never take it against them just lucky to be in the right mindset about Bitcoin back then but I told them that it's still not too late and since I have set an example already they are now more receptive to accepting Bitcoin.

Some will regret their decisions and they will come back, accept them because we can't judge them by saying they are bad for not being supportive, some people are so overprotective when they want the best for their friends, do not blame them, not until they become evil and try to hurt you, decisions making in life is sometimes not a plain sight, it's full of edges and we won't know until we try, imagine you invest in Bitcoin and something bad happened, your friend would probably be saying he told you, that you should have listened.

No one is perfect in decision making, and now that they admit their mistake and want to learn you should welcome them with open arms and teach them, for there might come a time where you will be in the position they are in right now, you might need to learn one or two from them too.

when it comes to hanging out with friends, I have some who didn't believe in Bitcoin before. In fact they just said Bitcoin wouldn't last another year at that point. We're still on good terms, but I didn't really talk about Bitcoin when we were together. they're not sure about Bitcoin so I don't have to go into what they don't like.
because I have another job, of course when discussing work I never talk about Bitcoin. It's different when I gather with friends or family who like investing. Bitcoin is one of the funniest topics to talk about among the right people.

They always become regretful especially when they see the results because the road they took after they disbelieved in you leads them to nothing but only loss of their precious time. they should consider themselves lucky because, in this crypto world where there are lots of scammers and frauds, they have friends that they can rely on in terms of giving them real information on where they gonna invest their money and time. Others right now are not as lucky as they are because they need to individually check for themselves the right coins and projects to invest they are also using their precious time for their own research about it.

Congratulations OP for your every achievement from Bitcoin. But he shouldn't regret too much by watching your achievements. Because many users are here who entered in Bitcoin and had a strong believe on it but end of the day all didn't achieve success like you. Some got scammed by a custodial wallet or exchange and some faced panic situation and sold in big loss. So it is not like that your friend will also achieve like you but I appreciate you because you have faced many situation and have passed many uphill. And I believe you are a good decision maker.

It's still not too late and your friend should take some effective decisions soon. So your duty will be take caring about him so that he can make better decisions like you or may not fall in a trap or something like a beginner does.

From your story I could deduce three things; commitment, passion and perseverance which were in display by you. I commend you for that mate and I am happy your efforts yielded positive results because you believed in it and you never gave up but what made me more happy is the fact that your story changed and your friend could see it and was surprised at the speed you upgraded all thanks to bitcoin the stand you took and he also apologized for mocking you at your early days as a bitcoin enthusiast.

About your friend, he belongs a type of stubborn people who hardly change their minds. You tried many times and failed to convince him. You gave up one time 5 years ago and should do it again now.

First, good fo you for sticking to bitcoin, just like the rest of us.

Second, I don't have any stories like yours, but I guess everyone can relate to it. Maybe there could be some members here who has the same stories or at least people around him didn't believed in bitcoin and so they make fun of us.

But in the long run, it's all worth it. I mean since 2017 since I join this community, at least as I was to give my family a good life, food everyday in the day because of bitcoin and other crypto investments.

I'd see that many people are in regret not believing in Bitcoin before and thinking it was a scam. But now, they're into becoming huge crypto investors and fully adapted to it - see, many people had changed their mind and views when seeing other people shows significant changes after investing in Bitcoin. It is sad to say but this kind of approach really exists and is mostly embraced. That is why if we heard our friends encourage us not to invest in crypto, we just find it out these days that they are posting on social about their great achievements because of investing in Bitcoin.

That would be a hard slap on him, for sure, but again, we learn valuable lessons from it. On my end, I don't have those kinds of people around me. I mean, they are really interested in Bitcoin, and like before, I've told them that I've earned this kind of amount, which they also see as a good investment. Though most of my friends have doubts about it, like, if they invest, is it sure that they'll get it back or earn profit?, like that, they really know what Bitcoin really is. For sure, your friend has somewhat heard about bitcoin in the news, as we know that they are saying that Bitcoin was used in the black market, which is why he thinks so.

Count yourself lucky to have been exposed earlier to the needed aspect of cryptocurrency and for choosing bitcoin first and for having the knowledge required to make an investment with a digital currency like bitcoin, many have done same thing you did but end up miserable with it.

There are many today who mocks bitcoin investors but tomorrow will turn out to have their decision changed and adopt bitcoin, invested beyond we could thought and so on, bitcoin investment is never too late, people can still invest today because there's more future to discover with bitcoin from now henceforth.

Kind of, but I am still waiting to the point that they would be somehow "open-minded' about what they said about Bitcoin since they were really hating on it as something of a scam, while in fact it is not. They think that Bitcoin is purely a "scheme" like a "project" like those ICOs you can see around crypto space.

Kinda disappointed that there are still close-minded people these days, smh.

I kinda have a stories before. There is a friend of mine that regret not believing me when I am keep annoying him about investing or learning about crypto especially bitcoin. Then fruits of my learning have gained then he said I should have believed in you before few years back. But now he is always asking me if I have some good prospect for money. Well thats life, sometimes they wanted proof first before really see what you are up to.

Yes, I'm going through what you went through. It's even my real brother, not my friends or any outsiders. He was always booing and criticizing me in 2017-2018 when I invested in bitcoin and lost most of my fortune. He always tells me to stay away from scams like bitcoin if I don't want to lose everything. But after the bull season of 2021, I recovered all my losses from 2018, and not stopping there, I made a significant profit.
Now I am teaching him little by little everything about the market.

But after all, I have learned that it is useless to give advice to others if you do not have any proof. As long as you have proof, you don't need to explain or talk too much to them, what others need is results, not just clichés.

Well this is one of a wrong way to introduce someone about Bitcoin, when your friend is really surprised you've change your life with Bitcoin, he will think Bitcoin will change his life too. But not everyone is a diamond hand, maybe he will invest with all of his money when Bitcoin price is $30K. Let's imagine if Bitcoin price slowly declining to $25K, he will ask why Bitcoin price is declining. When Bitcoin price is keep declining to $20K and he have hold for 6 months, he might say you've scammed him.

You need to be ready, your friend would be active to communicate with you in terms about Bitcoin price.

it is a common thing nowadays that we encountered people that having their regret and sadness from what they missed in crypto investing like what some of my friends and family also .
even my Youngest brother has this feeling back in 2021 but now he starts putting his willing to risk money for the time he misses the opportunity .
