You are right that many people have not been able to become jr.member even after spending more than years in the forum. Maybe they joined the forum for bounty or some other purpose.
It's really fun to earn merit and rank up. I think this is true for everyone. OP wrote this post about 6 months ago. Maybe he was new to the forum then and shared his feeling of getting his first merit here. There is nothing wrong with that.

The forum encourages us to help each other when we need it, and our senior members are doing well. I am happy to be a member of the forum because I can't express how much I benefit from it. Maybe every member like you will appreciate this forum because I believe every user has learned a lot from this forum and this forum has given them a lot of good things. I myself am grateful to this forum as I am constantly learning new things from this forum as long as I am connected with it. There were many unknowns that might not have been known in any news media or news feed that were known through this forum. From this forum only we are gaining knowledge but not like that we are getting benefit from this forum to earn using our skills. I always happy when ever I see a member like me introduce themselves in this right place and try to share they're own knowledge with everyone here. Because this is great platform where each and everyone come learn about what they have never had about before which is cryptocurrencies discussion. To be honest this website have helped alot of people's and also save life of many peoples that they're looking for a way to survive, expecially the youths that have already graduated from tertial institution and there's no any Job for them, But today they've bless with cryptocurrency.

Morever even ven the first time I introduced myself in to this forum I feel like do it again with how I find somethings so difficult, but when I excises patience and endure I'm grateful today.
