Everyone who has message or posted in this thread so far has had their option added to the sheet. I still have about 50% of the users yet to message or post, I will wait another 10-12 hours for submissions and then start pmming users to speed up the process.

I would like to say thank you Yahoo for appreciating our reports.
Just like the others, I as well didn't expect this reward.
Keep up the good job!

Would be good to know a well working system to report most efficiently. "Just" hit the report-button or better send a PM to the CampaignManager (wouldn´t that be to many?).

So you @Welsh do collect reported posts by Cryptotalk-participants and send those further? That sounds kinda efficient to me.

PMing shouldn't be too excessive. Although, you might want to get permission from the campaign managers themselves whether they would like to opt in to reporting users.

Any posts I notice that are made by signature campaign participants I will consider contacting the campaign manager if most of theirs posts are against the signature campaigns guidelines. Unfortunately, I don't know all of them so usually I only detect spam related ones or generic responses which have been repeated a thousand times.

Sometimes these posts won't need to be deleted as per forum guidelines, but might still be infringing the signature campaign guidelines. I don't want users using the report to moderator button to report users for breaking signature campaign rules. It should only be used for users breaking forum guidelines.

Alright, thanks for elaborating your perspective to it and indeed, the last part does make sense this way. Will consider PMing every here and there whenever there are a handful cases that might be interesting to be review by the/a campaign-manager.

Thanks a lot Y, classy move indeed.

I didn´t expect that and I already live a quite wealthy life. Thus would like to further support cabalism13 and his initiative Bitcointalk Charity Program - Give Hope To Everyone $1 Is A Big Thing For Them

@everyone who is without a signature and/or Avatar: Please give a read to this thread and consider supporting by spreading the word for a good cause.

also as a p.s.: now there are people going around using "reporting to campaign manager" as a retaliatory threat when they lose arguments on the forum, so as a preemptive caution please be careful yahoo62278, there might be some completely false reports coming in as well in the upcoming days...
This happens both in forum moderation, and signature campaign management. Although, I don't think its an issue as Yahoo seems to have a good head on their shoulders so I'm confident they can determine when this is happening.

Nah, I'm not looking for a reward and I don't have the energy to search post histories and all that right now.  It's so much easier just to report a shitpost to the mods and hope they deal with it.  And yeah, I've no doubt that there will be more members getting banned from the campaign.  Since there's no selection process, Yahoo62278 has to deal with these knuckleheads after the fact.  I'd pull my hair out.

That's fair enough. If I handle the reports, and I think its worth messaging a campaign manager then I likely will do so.

I also just spent some time researching and used Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2019 Q3) for reporting.

yeah I didn't know either we were supposed to report directly to yahoo62278 regarding Cryptotalk spam, I reported several posts mostly on the local forum that were completely off topic, obviously written to increase Cryptotalk post count, and I believe all of them got deleted (but not as a consequence of a direct report to yahoo)...

I had no idea I should have been reporting shitposters to Yahoo62278--I've made a few reports to the moderators instead, and I've found quite a few members who probably shouldn't be getting paid to post.

I reported users who weren't quite breaking forum rules or only the odd one or two of their posts were to be deleted. However, if their general post history was of low quality I sent them to Yahoo to deal with it. There's still time to send those names to Yahoo. I'm sure there will be many more users removed from the campaign in the coming weeks.

I'm glad the members on the list have been doing what they've been doing, but I'd also like to give props to Yahoo62278.  Because of his management of the cryptotalk campaign, the level of spamming is nowhere near what it was when Yobit launched their last campaign with no active management.  It really is a remarkable difference.

Keep it up, guys.  There are plenty more where those shitposters came from, and I'm assuming that new members are still able to join the campaign?  It's an ongoing battle, but it looks like you/we are winning it so far.  Fortunately most of the worst of the worst are posting in spam sections that I don't visit.  Heh heh.

Edit:

There's still time to send those names to Yahoo.

Thanks for appreciation, I really didn't expect that my name will be on the list (just forgot about report). Usually I do not bother report to any manager without obvious case. Since you are trying your best to keep this forum spam free so that was just my little effort to help you. Perhaps this way we might reduce some spam from forum. To be honest no one expected about reward, but they did a good job. I appreciate them from my heart and I will encourage everyone to always help campaign managers by reporting spammer, no matter reward and we can't expect really.

We made thousands report to moderators without rewards, so let's report to managers same like report to moderators. Your one good report is worth many bad reports. But it doesn't mean you should report someone if you don't like to see anyone in the campaign.

Please distribute my award to who have made maximum good report or you might average among them. Thanks for tips.

Yeah, keeping the forum clean is enough for me I don't need a reward. Obviously, appreciate the sentiment here, but either add it to someone else's name on this list that you think is deserving or add it onto a constructive user within the campaign to further encourage them to make effort with their posts. Another alternative would be to add it to the art contest winner, whatever you wish to do.

But if you think I deserved because of that thing, please send it to the next generations of LoyceV.
I'm feeling better seeing next Bitcoin forums contributor get the special gift. And they're deserved accepting these reward.
On behalf of my little girl: thanks Smiley

Maybe in the long term, you people can create a fund for this purpose and keep this a long term rewards for all the campaigns that you manage.
My initial thought: that would be a good use of forum funds. But on second thought: forum funds are used for this already through Mods.
The best reward though, is a cleaner forum. Thanks to the Merit system, spammers will run out of accounts eventually.

Much appreciated to Mr.Y
I intend to donate my reward to "The SpamBusters' club" as addition reward to their raffle program.
I hope that the people who contribute on there will be more excited.

Unfortunately campaigns do not pay as much as people think, so making a fund for spambusters or reporters is not really feasible. I wanted to do this because this is a large campaign and it really touched me how many users of the forum were willing to help with it.

It's not about the money, it's more about how I seen something very positive from the community. I see a lot of negative around here and this was a bright spot to me.

The club is working mostly on the volunteer's principle, from time to time we get some donations in form of physical coins  raffled between the participants but it is designed to fight the spam and get nothing in return, only better report count at the end.

Haha, this is fun for sure and very good idea, great work guys.
In the future, if you need help with a campaign you can just post the list of participants or the link to the spreadsheet in The SpamBusters' club, we'll keep an eye on the posters Smiley I hope we can be in service.
