Wow the transaction got approved...I did nothing...it got approved by itself  Grin
Thanks for your replies...

The transaction would be approved by itself with your fee in a month's time if the winds were right. I helped with several accelerators.
Don't thank me. He wrote a few hours and you had it confirmed after a few hours. Just read what people write after your request for help

Only BTC
Is this possible? Because as far as I know all transactions have to be queued and only transactions with higher fees set will be given priority.
A miner can include any tx they want into their block, that's why mining pools run tx accelerating services, if you attached a low fee to your tx and it is stuck, you can accelerate it by paying a service fee to one of the mining pools that run accelerating services and they would add your tx into their block. ViaBTC also offers free accelerating, but it is limited to just 20 slots per hour.

The transaction is relatively low, just 0.00017BTC worth about $8 and you’ve initiated the transaction with a 8sat/byte fee rate which amounts to about $2 on it. Well, that might be low but looking at the volume your transacting, it’s a good enough fee.

Well, the transaction appears to have been confirmed. It did undergo about 4 confirmations on it and that means, there is no need for worry. Probably some miner on the forum have seen your thread and did boost your transaction for confirmation. It’s confirmed on block 825,354. Your good to go but, you’ll be lucky to have such fee rate confirmed in the on going transaction congestion and high fees.

Is this possible? Because as far as I know all transactions have to be queued and only transactions with higher fees set will be given priority. As for bitcoin transaction fees, it's really bad these days and I don't think it will be resolved any time soon. And fees could get even higher as we enter bull season, we will be paying fees many times higher than they are now when bitcoin hits $100k. I don't even dare to move my bitcoins these days, high transaction fees are really a disadvantage for retail investors like us.

Actually I made a bitcoin transaction after 2-3 years..that time fee was much lower..I was just checking my wallets one by one and found some coins here..the recommended fee was more than my wallet balance  Grin
I think  I will just wait nothing more I can do
That's because of the spams of the ordinals aka BRC20 tokens. If you just came all of a sudden and you haven't checked what's with the news, it's because of them. You don't ask but it's way way more than that a month or few ago. The fee went even as high as $20-$30 or even more that just because of the clogged made by the brc20s. If the balance that you've got there is more than the fee, well, that's not worth to do the transaction and you just have to wait until the fees drop down a lot. And yeah, that's way back then when fees weren't a problem at all except 2017 bull run.

Only BTC
Well, it's confirmed and its only possible if OP used the ViaBTC acceleration service or someone submitted it for him.
Op's tx was confirmed in block 825,354 which was mined by ViaBTC, so it is either op managed to get one of the 20 spots in their free acceleration service or they used their paid accelerator. But come to think of it, op's output value is just $7.90, which is quite small to use ViaBTC's paid accelerator which is expensive.
But I wonder how he found a slot in that 20 spot which has never been available for actual humans to use ever since the changes were made. Roll Eyes
I believe there would be one or two lucky humans getting a slot every hour.

Good to know that your stucked transaction for 8 days had been confirmed.  Did you use any accelerator or it just confirmed normally?  I hope this situation had thought you not to make your transaction fee lower than what is listed as priority on the mempool.space to save you all the worries you experienced on this transaction.

@OP, you moved funds to the Legacy address, the fee could be saved if it was Segwit so consider using Segwit address for your future transactions.

True, you can get a cheaper fee if you use Segwit address, Segwit address are those addresses starting with 3 or bciq...

I made some bitcoin withdrawal from block.io wallet
It has neither reached destination neither it is refunded to my block.io wallet what should I do

Your transaction fee is low, I'm not sure if in the last 3 month transaction fees has drop below 20sats/Vbytes. You just constructed the transaction without checking anything, seem you didn't even follow the reconmmed wallet fees, no wallet should give you such fee recommendations judging by your wallet addresses, sending from multi Sig to a legacy address will require more fees.

You have two options. The first is wait for extra 6 days and your transaction night be drop from the mempool but this is not guarantee, there are instances like this that transaction were stuck more than 2 months and didn't drop. If you use a wallet that enable transaction to drop from mempool by default, it should drop after the 6 days.

The second option is if you have access to the private keys of that receiving wallet address, do child pay for parents transaction, spend the incoming output as new input and you will have to spend for the pending transaction and the new transaction provided that you have the private key to the receiving address.

From that site (bitcoin.io) I don’t think Op can have access to the private key.
He should be able to.

On a general basis I think this days even if a transaction doesn’t have RBF opt in there is a way to double spend it since most node have their settings as full RBF. This way the two transactions might still be in different nodes pools and the one that gets mined first will be the choosen one while the other is invalidated
He should be able to rebroadcast it through a server that enable full RBF. But I have not tried this before because my transaction always supports opt-in RBF.

Most nodes are using the default settings. If he has the private key or the see phrase of the wallet, he can import it on Electrum and be able to rebroadcast the coin in a new transaction. Just like I have commented before, if he is not able to do that, he should not connect the server automatically but manually and look for the server that has dropped the transaction. He will be able to rebroadcast the coin in a new transaction right now.

I do not really understand what you meant. But it is with knowing that he will not be able to increase the fee because the transaction is not supporting replace-by-fee.

Do not panic if the transaction doesn’t get confirmed in a week’s time it might be dropped depending on if the wallet or platform doesn’t rebroadcast it or some nodes do not still have it

There are ways of speeding the transaction by increasing the fees but the amount is too small for the hassle.

There's a congestion for bitcoin transfers at the moment. There's not much choice you have. The transfer amount is small and the fees used 19sats per byte is lower than half of current transaction fees. The best thing to do would be to wait for the congestion to ease. There are ways of speeding the transaction by increasing the fees but the amount is too small for the hassle. Current average fees are over $10. Bitcoin is nearly non usable low amounts.

Your transaction has a transaction fee of just 18sats/vbyte fee rate which on the current memepool fee rate is definitely too low to get your transaction confirmed. I think the reason you can’t see your transaction is because you’re using a web wallet and the transaction has not be displayed on the website but if it’s the regular non-custodial wallets it will be there because ideally your transaction never leaves that address except it is confirmed.

Do not panic if the transaction doesn’t get confirmed in a week’s time it might be dropped depending on if the wallet or platform doesn’t rebroadcast it or some nodes do not still have it

It's going to be two weeks before your transaction will be dropped and refunded in your wallet as far as I know.

It depends on certain conditions some nodes might still have it after that time because each nodes mempool have different settings or the wallets it’s self rebroadcast a transaction which still be keeping it there beyond that time. If it is the later then OP needs to contact their support

The fee that you used is 18.4 sat/vB.

If you check mempool right now, the fastest that your transaction can be confirmed is around 46 sat/vB. So it might take sometime for your transaction to be confirmed unless the mempool cleared (which I doubt).

It's going to be two weeks before your transaction will be dropped and refunded in your wallet as far as I know.
