Just for the wallet.  Undecided
Ok thanks, no deal then.
If this was for the Mycelium company as a whole then it may have been worth it.

I wouldn't care to much about all the other bitcoin wallets are already out and available, Mycelium has been around a long time now and they are a great wallet for anyone to use.
I do wonder where the share holders dividends are going to come from though.

Is this investment just for the wallet or is it the Mycelium company because the company does have other revenue streams such as hardware wallet.

People at Mycelium are good with at creating useful and innovative applications but the thing with them is that they're not doing their best in terms of profitability. Would they be asking for money by selling a stake of their company if it weren't for them having issues with liquidity? I don't think so. I wouldn't put much money into that for that reason, plus the rules allow mycelium to buy back at IPO sell price which is ridiculous. This is no investment, it should rather be seen as a donation.
There is a rule that allows mycelium to buy back at the ICO sell price is a little strange, what are the actual rules that allow them to buy back and do you even have to sell back if you didn't want to?

This sounded good when it was first announced but it seems the further people dig the worse it looks.

I agree. And their spokesperson in their chat just stated that he values Mycelium at 10-100 million, for a wallet that makes a few hundred dollars per month. You can earn more by interest alone at ridiculously low interest rates, so the project is losing money. Plus the value of the tokens depends on how many suckers the next round can attract.

Not to mention how many other android and ios wallets are available now. I will not be investing in this one.

I think it's a real good deal

Personally i 'll keep an eye on this.

After all it's Mycelium we are talking about, not some altcoin that came out of nowhere

tip: keep visiting icocountdown! it does all the "dirty" work for us, wannabe investors  Wink
thanks for the edon case by the way!

But there are many android and ios wallets. And myc only makes a few hundred a month. And with all the speculators that will probably blindly throw their bitcoin into this, the valuation will be crazy. This is a sign that we're at the peak of the ICO bubble.

Well,  it's not that simple as answering yes or no, being that several factors come into play, however I have to say, they are certainly a trusted company who's android wallet has been in the google app store for quite some time now. I have had their  android wallet since it was initially first released. It was among the some of the first bitcoin android wallets on the market. I'm considering investing durring the crowdsale.
Bitcoin crowd sales are all the rage these days, they pop up almost every month. That's what the bad part is,  crowdsales raise red flags amongst the supporters of our crypto community, mainly because they have a certain odor that reeks of scam. However, it's best to do your research my friend to find out if it's the right choice for you!

I'm interested in what other people in this forum think about this.

Is it a good investment?
