yeah we will think about that. We are aiming at those starters, that do not want to think about any pools and just get a working solution…

Hi styleshifter,

thank you for your reply. You can set the active currencies here:

The software mines the most profitable currency from the activated currencies, so only activated currencies are considered by the software.

We updated to v2.19i and added support for Ethereum classic as well as support for Cruxpool (ETH pool) and Coinfoundry (XMR pool). We are happy about your feedback!

I tried the new version today.
Great that you support ETC now but how can I select to mine ETC?

Hi nc50lc and joble,

we are an officially registered company in Germany (HRB 82480 Düsseldorf). So everybody can look up our chargeable address, name of managing director, contact details etc. in the (official!) commercial register of Germany as well as on our website.

myMiner UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
Managing Director: Niels Kaufmann
Schwindstraße 6

In addition:
- myMiner is digitally signed using a certificate issued by GlobalSign, verifying that the executable is built by an officially registered entity/company called "myMiner UG".
- While designing our software, we put a lot efforts into giving the users tools to verify the mining performance of myMiner, including from 3rd-party sources, so users can check their progress at the respective pool(s). There are even links to the users' statistics in the software, to make it as easy as possible.

There have been a lot of scam miners posted recently and your post look just like them:

I disagree with this statement. I have yet to see a scammer who is
a) using an officially registered company (in Germany!)
b) publishing digital signed software
(most likely since it wouldn't be very wise to do so if one is a scammer)

However, we are open for suggestions. What entities would like to put us to the test? Do you have any independent mining software journalists in mind? What would it take for you to trust a new closed source software?

I'd like to know what they think of you collecting a dev fee from their software.
It's either covered by the license of the software or we asked them for permission (or both).

Best regards,
Niklas

I can agree with your explanation about the malware detection but,
since your software is closed-source, people will always be skeptical about it.

If I were you, I'll add reviews and testaments (from trusted source) or ask a trusted member to review this software to gain some reputation.

I have to agree. There have been a lot of scam miners posted recently and your post look just  like them:

- closed source
- posted by a newbie user
- targetting newbie miners (only newbies use GUI miners)
- slick ANN
- giving reassurances of trustworthiness

As it stands you've followed the same path as scammers and you can expect to be treated as one
until a trusted third party can vouch for you and your product. The developpers of the software
you imported would be a credible start. I'd like to know what they think of you collecting a dev fee
from their software.

I never trust anyone who says "you can trust me".

Hi P00P135,

thanks for the heads up. If you look in the analysis, most antivirus softwares correctly identify our software as a crypto currency miner.

e.g.

Quote
ClamAV: Multios.Coinminer.Miner-6781728-2
ESET-NOD32: A Variant Of Win64/CoinMiner.DU Potentially Unwanted
Ikarus: PUA.CoinMiner
Kaspersky: Not-a-virus:HEUR:RiskTool.Win32.BitMiner.gen
ZoneAlarm by Check Point: Not-a-virus:HEUR:RiskTool.Win32.BitMiner.gen

As all miners are having issues with antivirus, myMiner has them too. We are shipping etherminer and XMR_stak, which are detected by some antivirus companies, which we can not change.

To address this problem, we have a code signing certificate. That proofs, that the software is built and shipped by us.

In addition we are a registered and you can look up our contact details.

If there are further questions, feel free to contact us or post in this thread Smiley

Looks nice! I tried it. Unfortunately the price for cryptos is way too low, so mining is not fun.
But: My GUI has Ping issues (shows a Ping of 0) and maybe you should get rid of the commandline window.

Wish the best!
