OP you need to learn more about bitcoin. Anyone can send any amount to any address. This means that you (yes you), can send bitcoins to Satoshi.
Nothing mysterious about that.

I understand that anyone can send any amount. But do u send random amount to random people from your bank account ?

I have sent to this address.

SO?

You are suspect.

Yes... BTC_Bear is a suspected member of the group Satoshi.

What?
That's stupid.

There is no group Satoshi.

I am Satoshi  Grin

Now please, I have tried to be logical about this, but you people keep claiming my hard work  Grin

Seriously itemgirl, it is nothing but spam.

Other users got some too.
Look it up in the forums and you will see this is correct.

Absolutely there is a group Satoshi. Satoshi Nakamoto was not a single man.

And you base this on what?

over the years alot of people have been sending coins to that address, not because they know the person. but because they love satoshi's invention and felt that they should donate.

over the years alot of people have found out about the address and thus some a-holes have added his address to their spam scripts.

no one truly knows satoshi and incoming payments are meaningless. what would be newsworthy is the day an outgoing payment was made from his address

As far as I know this is Satoshi's account => https://blockchain.info/address/12c6DSiU4Rq3P4ZxziKxzrL5LmMBrzjrJX

I just found this transaction has added some coin to it. Anyone know the source of this transaction as it is sending coins to multiple accounts at a time ?

Nothing mysterious. Anyone can send bitcoin to any account

But without reason ? Will u plz send me 0.001 BTC every day ?

Why ask me? You should ask that person. He/she/they might be nice enough to send you some tips.

Can you prove it's his address?

It's the first second block ever mined. No one but satoshi could have mined this.

FIFY.

Look at the first address. To the 50btc coinbase there were 890 additional transactions to this address with a total of 15btc.

People just sending a few pennies to satoshi. Just for fun. itemgirl, you did not invent Bitcoin. Why should people send coins to you?

Probably just spammers being cute.  These amounts are so small there's no reason to suspect anything nefarious.

Today they're small...  Tongue
