Hey George,
Really happy to hear you investigating a permanent mining solution for guldencoin, please let us know if you have any questions and we will assist wherever possible. Good luck with the idea!
Cool George, looking forward to what your plan is!
Thanks guys, much appreciated.
Like I said, I am a miner. I already have a working system in place that takes the temporary mining aspect out, and transforms it into a consistent way of mining. Upon re-thinking and re-calculating the numbers used in the current IPO and the idea behind it, it is possible to provide a consistent 100 MH to the network with a rough 1 BTC difference. So easy translated, 7.5 BTC can provide a consistent 100 MH of hashing power with no time limit on it. That's the easy part for me.
With this, I run into a few 'probems'. The first, being the required initial needed investment to pull this off. I am not that "in-depth", yet, in the community to know if there would be enough support to make this work with the help of the premine for the first batch (see also my "secondly" next) as a promo.
Secondly, in case of a positve potential, my mind tends towards building up a muliple of consistent mining. Not with the help of the premine, but stand-alones. Yet not to much, to leave some room for feature Guldencoin users, and also preventing to some extend that a lot of NLG would/could be directed to a few users with deep pockets. The picture I have in mind, is a maximum of 10x 100 MH lifetime IPO Guldencoin contracts. I could use some feedback is this is reasonable (the idea of a consistent 1 GH backbone hashing power).
Thirdly, with consistent mining in mind, I could use some advice on the pools on which to direct the hasing towards. I always used hardcoreminers, but I do not know who the owner is or on what level it is tied with Guldencoin. I simply do not know if there are any pools, and which ones they would be, that are more directly tied to Guldencoin; for example, like
http://digihash.co is with Digibyte.
Fourthly, I could use some advice on possibilities in sharing NLG address accessibility or if processes could be automated in terms of payouts in relation to the amount of shares. For example, let's say we could indeed realize a 10x a 100 MH lifetime contract. I would be happy to take on the part to realize what is needed to provide these 10x 100 MH, but in relation to the 'contract takers' I do not know if I would feel comfortable with the control over persistent 1 GH of NLG mining towards the community. Or put it more simply, if I were to be hit by a truck, it would be nice that the persistent mining doesn't go down with me
Furthermore, I would like to add the statement, if positive received, that I would make the consistent mining something like an "NLG exclusive", or something like that. With the help of it's community, a consistent backbone of hashing can be build for any coin. But I don't want to help the other coins, I want to help building the Guldencoin. There is some very good and dedicated enthousiasm in this community, and I believe in this coin. Dutchies to the moon...
