The https://guldencoin.com/pay-here url has been updated with the latest online stores. Thanks Shopem for getting us access to your 3 shops so quickly and from what I heard the first purchase went through very smoothly.
We now have 40 stores/merchants accepting NLG. Smiley

@geertjohan when I using your vanitygen tut I get an error when I type ./vanitygen -X 38 Greg
It says that bitcoin starts with a 1.
And when I type ./vanitygen -X 39 Greg it generates an adres an privkey but when I try to import it the console says invalid privkey error -5.

Am I missing something  Grin

You must use -X 38, to get the correct address version for a Guldencoin addresses. Not -X 39

The problem you're having is that the prefix sequence is not valid for Base58Check encoding (aparently).
Try `./vanitygen -X 38 GReg` for instance, that will work.

More info aboute Base58Check: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Base58Check_encoding

Ok generating worked but now I get error adding key to wallet code -4

Is your wallet password protected? If so, unlock it first with `walletpassphrase `
A timeout value of 30 is fine, so you have 30 seconds to add the privkey.
When you have added the privkey the guldencoin-qt application, or even the whole computer, might seem to freeze.
This is because the application is working very hard to scan all old blocks for transactions to the key.
If you are sure that no transaction to the key happened in the past (because you've only just generated the address and not sent anything to it yet) you can disable the rescan for a fast import:
`importprivkey "my new address" false`

Yes my bad, I think that's the solution but now I'm not at my computer I'll try when I'm at home. Thanks for the help!

Fuck a big seller 17 BTC Sad

Don't get mad at people that are some steps in front. Research and analyse more. Next time it is you taking profit of the table.

Mostly these big sell (or buy-) walls wouldn't get executed. Mostly big sell walls are used to scare people, so the y can buy cheap.

Indeed, no stress. Just grab the opportunity to buy some more NLG at this very low price.
Many early adopters who got their NLG in the beginning for 100 to a few hundred sats will have taken their profits and sold.
Good for them, and good to see the new buyers raised the bar; their profit/loss border is now approx 1100 sat.
This sell-out actually increased the strength of Guldencoin.

While we are extremely humbled by the current price we have to be realistic and I know it could go back to 100 Sat for whatever reason.

For everyone else investing in this coin the teams goal will remain the same whether it goes to 1 sat or 20000 sat, we out to make it so you can use NLG. It's a currency and currencies are about use.
We are also hoping to have more non merchant announcements this week. Some stuff to make it easier for mainstream public to get in. These buyers won't be traders either which is good for the currency, great for miners and really everyone involved.

WE WILL NEVER BE DONE WITH DEV WORK!

iOS is just one thing we have announced and kept everyone updated on because it was a crowdfunding. We hoping to have a live demo of it's usability in the coming week/s. The rest of the dev work will be released when ready and not to cause more hype.

Also welcome to the new faces I am seeing on the forums. Smiley

Updates will also always be done on http://guldencoinforum.com and then updated to our news site (http://www.guldencoinweb.nl) and ANN.

I just want to repeat what I said a few days ago to put the communities mind at ease.

The NLG user base is growing , The forums hit new simultaneous highs 3 times in the last week, twitter follower are going up gradually etc. This is all from word of mouth and our passionate community. We love to see the growth.

Fuck a big seller 17 BTC Sad

You guys do know that was a fake sell wall so they could push the price down to get back the 600k coins they sold back cheaper.  If someone took out there sell order they would of been mighty pissed off.

Don't worry about the price right now, it's not as important as you think it is. If adoption continues as it has been, the price will follow...

in case you guys sell... where to do this ? and able to get direct EUR? And than what... free wire to your account?
Or first converse to bitcoin necessary f.e. ?

if you have Guldencoin (NLG), you can sell them for Bitcoin (BTC) at www.bittrex.com. There you can trade the best price for your NLG.
if you want to sell BTC (or buy) for Euro and have the Euro deposited to your bank, you can use https://justcoin.com/ . Justcoin is reliable and the money is in your bank account the next day or 1 day later.
it is also possible to sell NLG for Euro at https://www.litebit.eu/sell/nlg/nl/ but the convenience will cost you a bit in terms of a lower price per NLG.

Happy trading!

I tried it out at bittrex(also bluetrade) but the SPREAD is HUGE there as we speak...
F.e.  when I want to buy 100.000 NLG it cost me 1,34 BTC
While when I want to sell 100.000 NLG i receive 1,055 BTC
So spread is almost 0,3 BTC!! That’s money!!

When I calculate this back to Litebit than what I pay for a buy at bittrex is kinda equal, however what I receive for a sell at bittrex is even less for what I receive at Litebit...  Does anyone have an explanation for this unnatural spread?? Or a alternative??
I mean, a bid/sell spread is normal but I prefer a more reasonable market value for my NLG’s ...

NLG on Bittrex is slow going both ways sometimes.  Almost all transfers I've done to and from there took longer than normal, and then needed to confirm.  Don't expect to flash sell NLG on Bittrex.

However, I've never had an issue with trading there other than that.  It's a pretty solid platform.

I have sent NLG from bittrex to my wallet. It has not come through yet, how long do these transactions normally take? It's stuck on unconfirmed for quite awhile now.

don't worry. Some time ago I send a support ticket and got an answer quick. almost same time my coins walk in ;-)

Sometimes it take 1-2 minutes, sometimes ~30 minutes - 1 hour....
