I will throw a couple btc towards this coin on monday.

Before I do, how safe is bittrex to trade on, have they had any incidents/hacks/scams allegations before?

I've not heard bad things about bittrex.. Afaik they didn't have any problems with BTC-NLG trading so far..
But remember: an exchange is not a wallet. Get your coins out of there once the trades have been made.

Would be awesome though if it raises like BC did (4600%). Calculate 2 x 4600% = What i would have Smiley

Damn! Why does the price have to rise when I find out about this coin!!! Hopefully it will drop back down a bit so I can get more, not that it would be much.lol

I will drop. 50% up costs only 1.8BTC.

I agree the coin is still cheap, I don't even plan on selling what I have bought ever. In 10 years from now using Virtual Currencies will become the norm. Think how much infiltration bitcoin has made now and the younger generation also want more control over there money and how they spend it.

This coin is only 4 months and 20 merchants, imagine in 1 year from now. Smiley

Sorry for the 50% pump  Grin

Haha you should change your BCT handle to "BuyemNL"

Hahaha  Grin

If somebody pumps it 1000% you can call me SellemNL haha. 1M NLG is for business so won't sell them at this moment.

I couldn't and wouldn't blame you to be honest. That would be a very nice return. Still though, gives you a 1000 x the purchasing strength you had before with it. With the continuous adding of merchants and everything. But I understand Wink

looks like http://guldenchain.mycryptoco.in/chain/Guldencoin block explorer is back in business! Smiley  congratulations to GNDA5MZWcm4AjLtNuEmYpgH8qsxo4vrnY8 for mining block 100,000.

hashrate update:

HASH:   url

130MH/s:  http://criptoe.com
508MH/s:  https://nlg.hardcoreminers.com
018MH/s:  http://guldencoin.dutchminingpools.com/
003MH/s:  http://gulden.p2p.0x0a.nl:27100
000MH/s:  http://pool.mycryptoco.in
000MH/s:  http://www.[Suspicious link removed]/
000MH/s:  http://dutchpool.org (down?)

659MH/s: total hash from above

total network hashrate is 1639 MH/s, so a LOT of private mining going on?

Please look into block explorer, cant connect.

I've already DM'd the owner on twitter, but he/she didn't respond yet.

We only have the one explorer?

No. There's also http://dutchpool.org:2752/ but that seems to be down too.

Coincidence?

Yes, the main website (port 80) at dutchpool.org also seems to be down. Looks like their entire server has a hickup, not just the explorer.
Sadly a coincidence yes. I know some other people are working on an explorer too, but thats not live yet.

This is live, but doesn't have all features abe (mycryptoco.in) provides (yet): http://guldencointrader.nl/

Please let me know, when you enable API on it, would like to relist NLG.

If you run a local instance of GuldenCoind you should be able to get all the stats you need from that.. block, difficulty, network hashrate.  I would imagine NLG would be near the top of your list these days.. --Mark

The price has gone up over 30% from lows earlier this week, I would suggest just leaving the price as is as you can see on bittrex miners are happy to dump out at these prices and you will get more NLG.

Has bittrex got a autosell feature for miners? Look under market history, small sales very often.

https://www.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-NLG

I think this time it is bittrex-bot that is selling tiny bits sometimes after a lot of buying.

This only switched on above 100. Miners also need to eat Smiley

Before I buy some what is the plans for this coin and will your devs get the iOS wallet to work. No alt coin has got a working iOS wallet, if you can convince me the iOS wallet will be a success then I will be purchasing at least 1 btc worth next week. I have iphone and ipad and want to be able to use them for coins.
I am from the UK so I have no problem coming to the Netherlands for a holiday.

The team hired a specialised IOS dev and he already started his work on the IOS wallet by the 11th of august.
We invested as community by funding to pay the dev to do his job.

Maybe it's best someone of the Guldencointeam can give some more specific info to you on the IOS wallet schedule and convince you of the serious plans in general of this great coin. I am sure you'll be convinced  Wink
