Guys I want to give 15 000 NLG away for Dutch Citizens, maybe like 150 for each person but they must be in the Netherlands and new to cryptos. What is the best way to go about doing this?

Another idea if the dev team want to do this, is for the next 300 Dutch citizens to claims coins they get extra 50 each, I am thinking that is best way to get unique users or maybe facebook?

Best way is to hand give them in the street.

A printed paper with instructions and explaining what is nlg for and a qrcode for the Android wallet.

if the person installs the app you transfer them 150nlg with your mobile wallet.

in 1 or 2 hours in a busy place like a train station you should be able to hand those out quickly.

Honestly, that's pretty brilliant.  Little paper wallet flyers.  I bet you could seriously move a bunch of these in a day.

Wildwest, if you go this route, PM me and let me know.  I might be willing to sponsor this endeavor with some extra funds.

Most of the time i dump flyers in the nearest trashcan, i think more people do.
The QR code should be scanned with the app, and funds deducted from a centralized wallet at that point i guess, if you pre-fund the paper wallets, a lot of funds will go lost.

That's why you sell the idea before you give them the paper wallet.  You present it as giving someone cash... people don't throw cash away.  Maybe team with the Subways that accept it and do a little info stand to explain it to people.  A big sign saying ask me about NLG and how you can get some for free.  Tell them that just by learning about how to set up the wallet on their phone, you'll fund the wallet for a discount on their sandwich purchase.

IDK... I just wish I lived in the Netherlands now lol.

so how much Guldencoin is one sandwich?  Grin

The same as the EUR price and will always be that way. Merchants recieve the normal price for their product in EUR and the customer sees how much NLG it is he pays on the screen. At this time it is about 6500 NLG for a sandwich of 3 EUR or so.

People, sent the message out and post on forums, facebook, twitter etc. where you are active and use a Subway movie (f.e. http://vimeo.com/94143313 or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3wBJWTKJ6M&hd=1) and/or  links to Guldencoin.

Or on the streets as shown the post below this post.

It works to get it mainstream bit by bit to talk about it  with friends/forummers. At the start it will go slowly and people will find it a bit strange paying with crypto, but awareness and acceptance will be accelerating more and more.

Remind it once a week, total about 4 times or so, not overdo. Not too much at once. It works!

For the Dutch, this is a good link http://guldenbeurs.nl/uitleg/

it explains a lot for newbies and there are more movies to be seen and refers to guldencoin.nl.
It will be the NLG marketplace, but is not active yet, so you can mention that.

Actually 0.5BTC would put NLG in first place... anyone with BTCs to spare? Wink

Since they add 2 coins a week being Wednesday and Sunday, .15 btc will ensure the currency gets added next wednesday.
I like the fact that swisscex is needed not only to trade but as a backup for merchants should bittrex go down, I am really loving where this coin is going!

Great news to see the 3rd Subway on board!

Also, in the next couple of hours I'd expect to see Mintpal pushing 3000 votes!

https://www.mintpal.com/voting#NLG

PS - do we have any stats on how many people have actually bought sandwiches with NLG? Smiley

It's brilliant news, man if another big merchant other then Subway gets on the NLG train I think it will set off a chain reaction in the Netherlands. We can all dream right?

Been checking the list of coins on Mintpal, basically 400 altcoins now and that excludes the ones that are currently listed. How is any new investor supposed to determine which coins are legit.
I was really lucky to have found NLG, it was almost by accident and before that had been having bad luck with alt coins especially when coinmarket.io got hacked.

I think the path the devs have created by bringing value into the real world is winning more hearts in the cryptoworld and there seems to be lots of community backing already with the mintpal votes climbing up at a faster rate then before and people putting btc into swisscex to get added onto that exchange. It's fantastic to see.

Dear Guldencoin community

Please note that NLG is up for voting on SwissCEX: https://www.swisscex.com/voting

Registered users have 3 votes every hour.

I hope the NLG team doesn't mind but have sent a PM to swisscex to get this currency added, NLG really deserves to be on good, honest and secure exchanges.

Would prefer the currency to be on swisscex rather then Poloniex as a lot of pumpers and dumpers there and too much trolling.

Not sure if this was fated or not but we actually need a second exchange fairly urgently to ensure uptime for litebit exchange rates and further merchant adoption, I will just paste my post I made on the guldencoinforum.com.

Hey Guys,

We actually need a reliable backup exchange fairly soon to push on with merchant adoption, we were being patient before and fussy. Swisscex seems like the best option at this stage. Like one of the posters on our ANN said, it's secure and honest platform and not used to pump and dump coins.

All you need to do is register an account and you can vote 3 times per hour and we can climb up the ladder fairly quickly, I will also be throwing some personal btc for more votes which is a lot cheaper then most exchanges. 0.05 btc gets 1000 votes and will put us in top 10, this isn't expected of course. Smiley

Thanks
Waterloo

We are getting to a stage now where we can't just rely on bittrex to have 100% uptime and the more merchants we add the more crucial this becomes.

Great timing then Smiley

i have vote!
