http://dutchpool.org will be rebooting at 12.00 (GMT+2) to complete the move to a faster server, fee for all pools will be set to 0%, please reconnect your miners after the reboot, the process should be finished around 12.30 (GMT+2).

Thank you.  But the wallet seemed to have sync'd !!  Do you recomend that I still do those steps?

I'm enjoying mining this coin...

Omar, your pool is great. Looks great, setup great.  I like the fact that I have one login for all the coins and don't have to create different workers for each coin.

Good work
and worth the wait.

Nope, if it's syncing fine then you don't have to worry about those steps.

Thanks guys. Much apreciated.

One more thing.  The wallet seems to be stuck on block 31987 when updating.  What's the fix for that?

Hi Compumine,

Below is the fix. Smiley

would someone be kind to tell me how I can calculate how many coins I would get if I mine this coin?  I'm interested, but I can't find a calculator for it.

There's an NLG per day estimate beside your hashrate in the pool statistics table. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Well that is pretty simple, blockvalue = 1000 NLG, blocktime = 150 sec, so there are 24 blocks per hour = 24000 NLG per hour, current networkhashrate is around 120mh/s so you should be able to work from there, suppose you mine at 1mh/s that would give you 1/120 * 24000NLG = 200NLG per hour.

Just another note to p2pool miners, it makes absolutely no difference to which node you connect, gulden.p2p or dutchpool.org, that is how p2pool works, all nodes communicate their share information and the total hasrate of ALL nodes determines your payout. You can check this on the statistics pages, the local hashrate tells you the nodes rate and the global hashrate gives you all p2pool nodes combined. Example:
Node 1 has 2 miners with each 1mh/s = 2mh/s
Node 2 has 3 miners with each 2mh/s = 6mh/s
Node 3 has 1 miner with 1mh/s = 1mh/s
Total pool hashrate = 9mh/s
So if the pool finds a block the coins are split accross ALL nodes connected, node 1 will receive 2/9th, node 2 will receive 6/9th and node 3 the remaining 1/9th. The only factor that will influence your potential payout is the time you have been mining, p2pool uses PPLNS for payouts, Pay Per Last N(umber) Shares, so if you just started mining your payout will be smaller, it takes several hours to reach your maximum payout, this system was put into p2pool to prevent poolhoppers from jumping in and out, the good part about this gradual build-up of payout is the fact that if you would decide to stop mining for whatever reason, your work put into the shares is gradually going down, so it is possible that even hours after you stopped there might still be some coins coming in if the pool finds a block. If you want to know more about p2pool please read this page: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/P2Pool

EDIT: I just noticed you mentioned 15 NLG, one more thing that is important to understand, p2pool or any pool for that matter will try to predict the future, it will show you statistics based on recent blocks and payouts, that is by no means a guarantee for the future, networkhashrate can jump from 100 to 1000 mh/s in 1 minute and the predictions will be wayyyyyyyyy off then, I hope that makes sense Smiley

It 's ok. Nice that both p2pools are synced again now and are ok!! keep up the good work!
Block was just found, looking good Smiley http://107.161.145.152:8147/block/6d280c64bc0de68f33347619d12f22eec1f857b87f6c8a06234e56ebfc9acfcf
