Can you ask him why he is keeping all his purchases on bittrex and not in a wallet?

He says this about it:
https://gulden.zone/threads/30000-euro-investeren-in-gulden.264/#post-5437

Let's wait and see if it is serious or not.

Better talk about the projects coming up here, i think  Wink

Real big investors do not post in here, Not before they bought ~75% of theire portfolio.

He posted it on one of the other forums: https://gulden.zone/threads/30000-euro-investeren-in-gulden.264/

He takes it now by a more step by step approach after some advise, instead of buying up at once, he says in one of his posts. He seems like a real investor to me.

Community Liaison,How can i help you?

Why would a serious investor tell the community he's going to pile in on a market with a relatively massive investment?

He wanted to know the best way to get as much NLG as possible for his bucks.

Or he already bought all into it... and wants to pump it further to cash out. 4 mil wall guy?

That having said, investors like Moneymaker and/or inverstors with even bigger pockets aren't noobs. Such persons won't invest such amounts without doing their homework prior, at least to some degree.

The problem is... his opening post and some comments later show that he doesn't know what he is doing. He didn't do his homework.

On the Dutch forum I read some person wanted to buy Guldens worth of 30.000 euro's.
Luckily on advice of fellow members he was adviced not to pump 30k at once in Guldens because that would cause a big pump followed eventually by a price fall.
He was adviced to slowly buy up Guldens at low prices on Bittrex and have patience since a lot of traders are currently dumping.
What happens when another buyer comes up and buys up 30k or more at once, that would be sour for MoneyMaker who does have the patience and relies on our advice.

My question is what is going to happen in the future when more people want to buy Guldens and with even bigger pockets?
I know a lot of eyes are currently watching Gulden closely withing the crypto community.
Even more investors withing the Dutch Fintech scene are watching Gulden either to buy Gulden or invest in the Gulden ecosystem.

Shouldn't we be prepared and in some sort way educate them what is wise and better for the Guldenmarket regarding the buying aspect without causing to much turmoil on the price?
How long is BioMike's software going to be able to make sure the price is stable without a lot of pump and dumps?

Like to hear the general opinion of the community on this.

Regarding Gulden, I do not occupy myself with the price.

Real investors will do their homework. The good news if this user is being serious he will be able to buy up all the mining rewards for the next year at these prices on his own! Unless everyone else decides never to buy Gulden again there is only one way the price is moving over the next year. The key point is if the investor will remain patient.

My software can't do magic. The recent rise has already taken a hit on its effectiveness and needs time to recover. The amount of NLG traded past few weeks is huge compared to the walls it can currently put up. It build up nice walls in the 700-750 and 800-850 tranche, which would turn in a nice support when we start to tackle the 999sat wall.

I wouldn't worry too much Barry. The market, if affected buy large investors like MoneyMaker, will even then level out. The big portions of NLG to be acquired are rare as it is, so a couple of whales fighting for the lot is not a bad thing if the majority of the stakeholders are here for the long run. And that's exactly where we are.

A friend of mine lost 200.005 guldens.Wallet.dat overwritten due to new windows install. Recovery was not successful.

This is the adress:

Even though if it was his own fault. Might be a good plan to create an Guldenbank? Or create another wat to store your coins save. Not everyone is able or wants to take the time to create multiple wallets and create backups all the time.

The new 1.5.1 wallet is a first step towards making backups more visible, we do acknowledge that this is something that needs to be dealt with as we head towards mass adoption. More will be explained when we release the update.

In my vision, nowadays banks become CryptoSafekeeps, they will work as now, but they will store people's cryptocurrencies. They will be the cryptobanks for those who can not take care their coins safely.

Since all your coin data remains on the block chain, not in the wallet, forever, one backup of wallet.dat is all you need to get your coins back after a failure if you haven't changed passwords or private keys. That's not too much to do is it? We should ALL be backing up our machines on a regular basis anyway. Don't think I'm not sympathetic about his loss but, we need to be more responsible with our data.
